I think I'm decent and as I said in a previous post my mother thinks I'm the cat's pajamas!! I have tried to meet folks on this site and for whatever reason people don't want to meet. I'm just not their type, whatever that is, I suppose. I think people aren't really being honest. You say you want decent and there are plenty so what's keeping people from meeting? And remember, women choose the men, not the other way around. Both people have to be in agreement, but I have a feeling that women get a lot more attention than the men. And they ultimately choose their mates.

The second I am not sure about as since I am raising an 11 year old, work full time, and go to college it does make it difficult to even have a planned date. The next one they are talking a picnic so keep your eyes open in the forum. Even if they pick a casino/bar again it is a "safe" thing since there will be many people there from DH!

While everyone's replies have some merit (it may be a little of everything) think about what "decent" means to you, then you may do a better job of meeting the right people. Sometimes when out standards are too high, too specific, too shallow etc., we keep finding the SAME type of person (i.e. the non-decent guy). To the Vegas man's credit, they are trying to find a DECENT woman here as well--who isn't here for the weekend, the AEBN awards or bachelorette party. Try not to look so much or try so hard. Try to stop looking for the "type" of guy you like and you'll find a lot of very good people. Just because you aren't compatible with someone, shouldn't mean they aren't decent...they just aren't the right person for you.

By your age I had met MANY DECENT good men just that the timing or something was off. I'm 51 now & 1/9th of my friends are men & the reason why is because I have always found men more honest, sincere, loyal & a heck of a lot more fun then females (no disrespect to all the good decent females). My problem is I don't like the cities & most out here are 20 to 30 years older then me. Something I didn't take into consideration before I moved here to what is mostly a retirement community, most retires don't need that thing called job so there aren't many jobs out here. Sly

It seems like the ones closer to my age are never ready to settle down and be in a committed relationship with someone. They are more focused on getting their partying in. I like to have fun, but I am also way past ready for something serious and not these flings that Vegas is famous for. It just is sooo hard to find someone.

If they are honest to you ,and most people that arent you can pick them out, you just have to speak up email them. But this is only one place to meet. I have met many here from the meet and greets. Love em all. Good people. And Mo not everyone can make it to all of them that is unfortunate but maybe you can make some of them. I am trying right now to set up one a month. Doing different things. It's cold and today raining so bbq right now will have to wait IMO until the weather is a bit better. Then they go on to list you have to have a car, you have to be this tall, have to have this much money, you have to dress like this. That just passes up the decent men who don't have everything you want. I'm not saying thats you, because I don't know you. I'm saying reevaluate some of your criteria and see if you can make any adjustments and if you can fine. If you can't fine. Some of the decent ones may not fit all your criteria, that should not make them unworthy. So he don't drive a BMW, he drives a Honda, So hes not 6'2", hes 5'11", etc. It may be some changes like that you have to make to find happiness. Keep hunting though we are out here, you may even have to make the approach when you see something you like. Good Luck.

I know Arizona folk have some real cool values. I have listened in certain settings to what some persons want in a relationship and in a partner and Arizona guys and Las Vegas guys always leave me comparing the two lists. I always get a different flavor from the Arizona guys than those in Vegas. When I hear a Vegas guy speaking about seeking someone with morals and qualities, I always get attentive as they are very far and few among all the rest wanting someone who likes to go clubbing and partying and having a good time. What Im starting to notice is that most ladies, are bombarded with messages each day from those men that are very less then perfect. At that point when a good genuine guy takes the time to carefully read the persons profile and really write up a thought out message to show interest toward that person utilizing the Up most respect. We dont even get a reply, or "Sorry not interested" I've read many forums, and this happens alot, and yes I'll admit Im a Victim aswell. Hence we become burnt out. Again this is just my thought.

I get questions about things that I have already posted on my profile. They just don't pay attention. People in general don't listen or they only hear what they want to, I think it goes for reading as well. Yeah, I get burned out sifting through the same ole crap, but hey this is a good forum to meet people you may otherwise not have the opportunity to meet. There are good men in Vegas and if you put your real self out there it can happen for you.
