Hi I'm a single mom my daughter is one. It's hard finding friends these days all my old friends left or we have nothing in commen anymore or the moved away and got married. It's lonely and depressing with no one to talk too.  Hope to build friendships off here. Will see!  I say this all the time " Things Happen for a reason". Live laugh and love to the fullest..let each day count for something.

Hello. I'm a single mom with 3 sons. The boys are my life, pride, and joy. Every day has its fill of busy challenges and celebrations. some times it is difficult to handle a situation and not have another person to lean on, be a team with, that has my back and will offer wisdom with a loving, gentle hand. Its true I do not have allot of extra time to pour and invest into another, yet I know the time invested in the boys is fleeting and not something I will ever regret. I guess I was hoping there was another as devoted, understanding.....not taking the ups and downs of raising children as drama.......but being on the same page and believing that it is a privilege of being entrusted with instilling values, morals, teaching, and loving the gifts of children.

I have a birthday on Tuesday for my son Tamryn. He is turning three. I have a five year old name Keyuana. I have these two 50% of the time legally. However, their mother gives them to me more. I also have a 14 year old daughter named Shaelyn. I have had custody of her since she was two years old. I'm not only a father, I'm also the mother. I would not change it for the world. My kids are my life.

Any ideas on how to get a 3 yr old to take meds i have tried putting in ice cream tea juice pop and its like she knows i have to hold her down and it breaks my heart and she only seems get half of the dose

If you can grind the pill up, crunchy peanut butter is the best and you can put it on an animal cracker...

Most pharmacies can add flavoring to liquid meds to make them more palatable. There are at least a dozen flavors too.
I hate to say you could try bribery ie; tell them if they take the medicine you will give them some kind of gift they like? I would imagine it would be worth it to not have to battle...Best of luck.

I am a single mom of a beautiful 14 month old little girl! I am a single mom because her dad did not want me to have her much less be around to take responsibility for her!! That is fine with me because he forfeits his rights and I can raise my baby without his negativity!! Things are not always easy, but my baby is worth everything that I have to go through!! You all stay blessed and know you are not alone!!
