I have a Japanese American friend who's on DH. He said that most of the women who have viewed his profile or sent him winks and messages have been Latina women. He said they've been Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican, Cuban, Peruvian, Ecuadorian, Colombian, etc.
His situation makes me wonder: Why do Latina women like to date Asian men?

Perhaps it is similar phenotypes, similar cultures (family values etc.), genetic marker relationships.
Turns out Eva Longoria (Mexican) is related to Yo Yo Ma (Chinese)- learned that in the PBS Dr. Henry Gates geneology specials.

I"ve heard that some Mexicans are part-Chinese and/or part-Filipino.
Trading ships used to sail between Acapulco, Mexico and Manilla, Philippines. Chinese and Filipino men ended up in Mexico that way.
In fact the road between Acapulco and Mexico City was called "El Camino de Chino" because so many Chinese lived along the road.
And Chino is a popular Mexican last name. Anybody with that last name has a Chinese ancestor.
And some Pervians are part Chinese.

Op, just because someone viewed his profile doesn't mean jack shit. Asians usually stick with their own kind. Asia men especially usually prefer the petite. Most Asians I have met/friends with do not like curves-so that would leave latina's dead last.

I saw Puerto Ricans of all skin complexions...from very light to very dark and everything in between.

latina woman dont like to date asians.. they like black men.. haha i have 4 sisters. 3 are with a black guy and 1 with a latino.
i have never seen no asian with a latina.. not saying it doesnt happen but its not there #1 choice. asian people mostly end up with asian people. atleast in los angeles.
