I'll start. It's almost like my IQ began dropping as I arrived. The people do not as a rule have super high level conversations. Mosquitos the size of B17's. But I do like the lack of state income tax and filing those extra returns. Liquor stores closed Sundays...what are they thinking? And everybody is soooo deep into religion and politics. The energy to form opinions on all that. The diet and the obesity...wow.
The warm weather is real nice. And jeans everywhere is nifty.
Surely you have good and bad stuff. Spillit.

Good- its Gods country!! Not much of that damn snow!!! Warmer weather on sandy beaches, means smaller bikinis! Pretty women. Were the only state in the union that can legally succeed and become its own nation. Largest economical developement in the union. Largest military per capita in the union. Best food. Only state to have its own gendre of music (Texas Country for you yankees).

Go the hell home if you don't like Texas. We like foreign people better than Yankees in Texas. Their women too

I recently relocated here in Texas.
I'm sure i'll learn the LIFE.
One question i have.
When an emergency vehicle has its siren on, should Texans stop and pull over on both sides on the road?

I think the local law says, only if it is not a divided highway. But locals sometimes are not meticulous about laws on roads.
Luckily, it is easier here to avoid collisions by steering around stuff. More than, say, Temple and Fourth in LA. My worst accidents, being targets, has been in the cities.
Although, I live on a curve in a rural road. I continually find pipe fittings, an entire stainless deep fryer, coils of copper sheething, even a water heater along the 800 plus foot parkway. I stripped the water heater of useful silver plated screws, copper wires, then marked it with a price for sale. It was, of course, promptly stolen. Yeah for our side. James
