if I choose to point out historical fact how is that racist? Pick up a world almanac and read the names of the people who invented what. You will see overwhelming that most inventors of note came from European countries. Yes there's a smattering here and there from other parts of the world. But overwhelmingly European. To point that fact out is racist? Or is it just a cold hard fact?

prince

Your question is really totally unrelated to current events.

And your continuing quest to assert that you, or the group you identify with, have some sort of claim to superiority (not even by virtue of personal characteristics, but simply because of melatonin) might be indicative of an inferiority complex.

But don't let me ruin your fun.
You can keep on sowing hatred and discontent for your personal aggrandizement.
This is a (mostly) free country.

Actually it does have alot to do with current events which is why i brought it up long ago to begin with. You seem to want to try your hardest to prove a point but the reality is you never do, ghe sad thing about you is you post on my threads asking questions and posting your irrelevant thoughts but get a tough reply back to you and you remain silent! Every time! Until you have another irrelevant argument.

Nice try bard

The personal slurs aside (I admit, I rather invited you to "do the dozens"- all in good fun though)

OK. I'll bite...

Exactly what relevance does the ancient Egyptians, or who were actually the first people/tribe, have to current events?

PS- Will have to get to you later.

This issue was discussed many times and still brought up to understand humanity better, where life all started which can connect the world the people as one form of understanding that we all the same. Truth out of this can solve the unknown from people thoughts that people believe we're different from another when really we all the same coming from the first people on earth. Although i put my input on what i believe to be the first of humanity

Oh the Egyptians. You mean one of the many cultures that indulged in slavery. When should the Egyptians start paying reparations? Their still making money on those stupid pyramids that slaves built.

OK.
There are actually different views/ideas/beliefs about that, but whether from a strictly scientific perspective, or a theological one, most people acknowledge that we all have the same origin, if you go back far enough.
(One notable exception would be the Urantia book, which states that mankind actually is a conglomeration of people from different planets).

But, the issue in discussions of "race" is really about this:

Regardless of origin, the observed phenomena is that the contemporary "races" have different characteristics.
How much of this genetic difference is inherently exhibited in personality characteristics/behavior is still a question (at one time, it was believed that things such as loyalty, honor, etc. were inherited characteristics- which was the basis of aristocracy. And it is observable that basic intelligence (I.Q.) tends to be an inheritable quality.
So the position of some, is that the different races are suited to different duties, positions, etc. and therefore it is justifiable to treat people differently in light of this.
The extreme of that position, of course, was the institution of slavery, whence certain classes of people (or tribes/cultures) were considered so inferior to the ruling class, as to be deemed suitable only for servitude (basically treated as animals, though the Judaic law actually provided for much greater protection/respect, contrary to the understanding of many).

In our contemporary culture, we generally consider slavery immoral, and do not allow it within our borders. (A war was even fought, to bring this about).

But there was (and actually still is) controversy over whether it is logical, and reasonable, to treat members of different genomes in exactly the same fashion.
But the original premise was that all citizens should have the same rights and protection (again, in regards to government/law).
That is why, after the "civil war" the "reconstruction amendments" were enacted to enforce equal protection (as far as government/law) for the freed slaves.

Later, came legislation and judicial rulings that extended this into the private sector.
While I approve of the humanitarian compassion behind this, I deem the methodology to contrary to the original principles of minimal government authority/control.

And, IMO the "progressive liberals" have taken that ball and run with it, to areas that are way "out of bounds".

But in regards to this particular question...
I consider it irrelevant to anything excepting fields of studies such as history and anthropology.
It is too far removed in history, to have any relevance to current events.

What groups or nations didn't have slavery?

I wouldn't know about the Egyptians payments of slavery nor does it have anything to do with me for that matter, why don't you find out since your so curious?
