Not so bad as predicted here in Lima. Thank God for that, but it's going to be cold today. I wonder if the groundhog will see his shadow or not.  Lots of school delays and cancellations this morning. That indicates how bad the roads are. Could have been a lot worse.

Actually it's mild compared to what it could be. Rained heavily yesterday with a temp of 50 then dropped 24 degrees overnight. The wind dried the roads so not icy as expected. Snow just dropped in around 9 AM so shouldn't get very bad this go around.
Ground Hogs Day. Now we'll know if we have to endure 6 more weeks of winter or have to wait 6 weeks for spring.

Good start It's 11º out....warmer than yesterday at this time.
Busy day ahead here. Insurance company first, then to the doctor, then to work. Nothing more than snow showers predicted for today
It's Wicked Wednesday, but it couldn't be much worse than Terrible Tuesday was!

Dropped from a balmy 51 yesterday to mid teens overnight with a white powder on the ground this AM. Nothing for alarm but enough to let you know it could yet be coming. AH spring and the roar of lawnmowers. DID I SAY THAT? Wait until it's my butt pushing the lawnmower and see if I think it's nice then. LOL.

Solar flares.
You can't live out here without satellite, if you want to stay connected to the world. Sometimes the local news will give warning to solar flares. I must have missed it this time. From about 5 in the afternoon till I lay my weary head down, I was experiencing abnormalities with satellite reception.
