This may sound weird but when you miss your mom...look in the mirror. .you'll see her..because she made you..
So she's not completely gone, a peice of her still lives in you..your voice, your eyes, your laughter.
That is when you can see her and hear her..she's there
Everytime I burst into laughter, I swear I hear my father. .exact same laugh.

I know for me it's tougher to see my mom be sick and suffer, than it was when my dad died.
I was young and had a heart of stone when my dad died.
My dad was a man. A tough old school korean war vet.
I figured he could deal with anything.
Even the big dirt nap.
I cried once for the old man.
But my mom. Marona Mia.
It tears me up to see her suffer.
She's my best friend.

I've got parents in their mid80s that are frail and have more than just Senior Moments now..I did get dad laughing yesterday ..'it's not a "Senior moment" when it's all morning Dad '
