I am not looking forward to being single this holiday season. Can you feel me on this one? Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Super Bowl. Okay that last one is'nt a real holiday but maybe it should be. So if there are any ladies that are real on here and they feel me hit me up.

I know how you feel was single and alone the last holiday season. I vowed this season to go to all the parties I was invited to last year even stag if I have to instead of sitting home waiting for the phone to ring. Keep the faith the right girl will find you.

Old pro at being alone for the holidays

tried the old ploy of telling folks I broke down on my way to Phoenix
see if anyone would invite me to a party
never worked

last Thanksgiving I went to the laundro mat
figured at least it would be quiet
read a a book; watch clothes spin

but no! every immigrant was there
all washers full!
no one speaky Englishy
I'm like.. what!! is this America ?

anyway this holdidayze will be differnt

Yeah guess I qualify as a pro loner as well.I normally head for the woods or a lake on holidays. At least ya don't have a lot of dishes to wash or run the risk of a DUI.The sleepin bag sure gets cold though.

Consolation- We save money at the holidays being single. Ummmm, ok, I hear you, maybe it is not worth the trade off, but it is something tangible, at least : ).
Suggestion- Treat yourself to a vacation with friends/family. It's hard to feel sorry for yourself when you're surrounded by loved ones. This going out to the woods to be alone business seems unhealthy, at best, and probably contributes to the higher suicide rate at the holidays.

The woods or the lake certainly doesn't sound unhealthy to me. In fact if you're a outdoor person that's about as good as it gets. Now if you were hunting with our vice president. that could be suicidal.. LOL
I've spent the last three Thanksgivings in Rocky Point with friends, alone but with friends. I guess it could be worse. Hell yes! It can always get worse. I'll be going down again this year but who knows what the future will bring? Not this kid, not me. Every time I think I have control, I'm soon shown I have no control at all. but that's just

Going to the woods or a lake is quiet and peaceful. You can also learn a lot about yourself and nature if you pay attention. Not unhealthy at all.

Always. Other then the 4 years with my ex wife, spent every one of them single, and nearly everyone of them alone as well.

Take that back, spent Thanksgiving last year in Egypt with a great group of people. Best Thanksgiving I ever had.

Of course the holidays normally just annoy me anyway.

I go south.........
Hit the Sea of Cortez.
Enjoy the sun.
Go fishing.
Mexico is not nearly as crazy as the states during the Christmas holiday.
