My cousin has gone through this with her husband and it has been for the past 5 years or more. We had a talk about it and she said she is ok with it because he still shows affection for her. That is what seems to be more important than the sex, the affection. He will still hold her at night and that is what she said was important. Now me, Im a highly sexual person but I would exaust every avenue I could to make it work. If all else fails, I really believe if love is truely there, the side that can have and wants to have sex should be able to do so in an agreeable way for the ailing partner.
I watched cat house on HBO once where a woman was sent there by her husband. He couldn't make her happy sexually so he sent her there for the girls to take care of her. She was glowing when she left. I am sure that made a big difference in the way she dealt with her husband when she got home and after as well. He loved her that much.

if you truly love that person, you accepted it..
if you don't you will find a way to end it...
my x had eud.. even the pills didn't have the ability to work all the time
or lets say, half mast?
anyways, as a woman if you love the man, you just improvised, or you stopped
expecting it, and concentrated in letting him, keep his own self respect, which
required to help him pump up his ego, and tell him that every thing was still great...
you just accept it...
and move on to other areas of your relationship.
a good relationship, should have many areas that bond a couple, not just sex.

There are many ways and means of becoming satisfied without intercourse. Lots of ways. The biggest hurdle would be to overcome the mental trauma that would come with not being able to perform. After all the best sex begins in the mind. Onnce it's ability to perform (the mind) is broken, then all is truly lost. Working on the mind will be the first priority. All the rest is gravy.

I would stay..... there are ways around the issue if BOTH partners are willing and creative.... Toys, strap ons, fingers, and of course locations....
Maybe its a way of being told to think outside of the box.
I'm in it for the long haul.... regardless of the phisical act, don't get me wrong... sex is very much a part of any healthy relationship, but it isn't EVERYTHING!!!

I have to agree..I do there is other options. It would be tough but ya got to make the best of the situatuion..

If I loved him, truly deeply LOVED him, and he was my Baby; I would find creative ways to keep ME happy,without stepping out on our relationship.... Honor and fidelity and compassion and sensitivity and monogamy and love are all one thing aren't they? As is trust and respect and friendship...Sex is good, but personal codes of honor are priceless. Period.

I've gone a long time without sex, and I don't miss it as much as I miss having someone to hold.
Sexual problems contributed to the death of my marriage, but they were the nasty-rash-and-lousy-excuse type of sexual problems.
