I'm passionate about volunteer work. I try to volunteer at least once a week.
I love swing dancing!

I am passionate about truth, honesty, and justice. Call it a character defect. 
I am passionate about open-mindedness, knowledge, education, and broad human experiences.

@ Mercedes, your devotion to your son is both touching and not in the least boring! I have never surfed! I have to put it on my bucket list. Everyone's grandbabies are a passion. I'm more of a knitter, but I've done some crocheting. Hmm..when we're very old we can be crotchety crocheters!
@Bry, I think we've all seen and enjoyed your passion for music. Honesty, justice and broads? Well, I think a lot of guys have a passion for broads And, you just can't go wrong with the cheese/sex combo

To start off with a Caprese Salad which despite it's name is more often than not served as an appitizer and not as an actual salad. I'll follow that up with some mixed greens with homemade garlic and italian herbs croutons in a homemade italian vinegarette Some Chicken Cacciatore over gnocchi and to finish it all off a homemade torte di Frutta.

Trish, I went camping for the very first time in my life last year! I loved it! I was so afraid that I was too much of a city girl, but I thought it was great. Fishing was relaxing, but I didn't catch a thing.

I love La Caprese salad!!!
You may want to try Japanese Kani Su salad - to die for! There is also Mexican Shrimp C*cktail, it's kinda like a cold soup/ salsa combination. DELICIOUS!! And, extremely healthy for you.

Thanks but I don't do any type of fish or seafood.
The Kani Su would still taste pretty good... I mean, I use fake crab meat anyway. Just add extra veggies. I like mine with cucumbers, tomatoes, sesame seeds, tons of parsley, carrots, a bit of red and green peppers if I'm in the mood...
I've often thought about being a vegetarian because I really like many of the dishes. Giving up steak though, well, I just couldn't overcome that.

Not sure I have those passions these days. My passions have always been about the one I love and family. Now that they are all grown and the wife is gone golf seems to have taken over.
So yea settling into the grumpy ole man phase nicely thank you!

@Klassy, It's funny how many DH'ers have mentioned words and language. We haven't interactd too much, but you are another person who strikes me as having a real passion for life in general. It's good to have people like that around here. Keeps it interesting
