Maybe the woman dresses that way because it is what makes her comfortable, and feels confident. That doesn't mean she wants people to stare at her as a sexual product.

So of course she will complain about it.

Most men don't seem to understand this, simply because most men tend to view things differently.

Most men can go out in public wearing anything they want, and are not viewed as a sexual product, like men will view women. So because of this most men can't seem to understand the woman's point of view.

So the question in turn could be turned on you OP and ask:

Why when a woman dresses sexy, do you have to stare? You don't!

not schooled by you yet, i understand what you are saying in terms of comfort and confidence, even with the example of need to wear high heels, but I don't necessarily agree with what you said.

End of it all, I think is perception, I am going to respect yours, hoping that you respect mine.

Now giving a scenario of hot breezy day; fair and nice weather, a woman wears shorts and tank top and another wears a long dress. The one with the shorts will be harassed twice as much.

And regarding the comfort zone, I don't ever need a woman "to be in pain" by wearing high heels just to try and impress me, actually to me that's disgusting, that someone would go through physical pain to appear "beautiful" to me. And if you're living in that society something's wrong with you. If you are not speak up, and pick a side, because argument is flaw if you defend both sides, because there is a time that comes, it's either one or the other.

It's for her own mental comfort.

Like others have said to steal a glance is one thing. To set a stare, and mental rape her in your mind is way different.

The OP refers to staring. Just because a woman dresses sexy or revealing, doesn't mean she wants to be stared at. It could simply be for her mental comfort, in which she has all right to complain about men staring.

The men that stare could learn to be respectful and show class, not stare.
