I actually went on a date with someone recently from here ( first time).. it was nice... but it ended kind of awkwardly..he let me go inside his apartment, to see his puppy, (i love animals) and as we were playing with the dog, i kind of bumped a container on his dresser, and a box of Trojans fell out...then he gave me this weird look, like I cant even explain it...i was really embarrassed lol so i just left....anybody experienced anything similar?

Yeah I met a chick here a while back had breakfast a few times and went to movies just to get to know each other. she was cool but we were feeling each other in two totally different ways lol! I mean you ever met someone that you knew if you had sex with them it was going to be a huge problem down the road ? Well she gave me all those signs lol!

I've actually met around 13 people from this site. Mainly all friends. Had a Cali meet up with a bunch of DH'ers. Only one of them was an actual relationship. It was really great while it lasted.

Yes, something similar happened to me, but she bumped into the dresser and my little bottles of "holy water" came out.
She looked startled, asked what they were.
I told her and said I got them from a gypsy to protect me from some of the kinds you run into on here.

Have met several people from DH. February of this year we had a Chicago Meet and Greet. There was 8 of us alltogher. Last September a DH friend of mine drove up to Iowa and spent the weekend with me here in Iowa.
Have met three gals locally for "meet up" dates. But, nothing to write home to momma about..

I am new here, but on DH and about 8 other online sites I have been on, I would rite to and get no reply. I would compliment and get no reply. I would flirt with and get no reply. I would do forms, blogs and games. Came close to meeting a few people but for reasons never did. I met two people in person: neither guy was "the one". THEN i started messaging someone from here, then we progressed to phone calls, then live chat, and he's flying here in June.
I could go on and on about any of the three of them... but to be respectful I can't really tell the stories... just know the first two were NOT right for me and third has some true possibilities!

I've met 3 guys in person... One was a fukin psycho lol I truly think he's somewhat Krazie. The other was a really nice guy, sweetheart but he was moving back to Cali. The third... He's better than what I expected, I like him... Just gonna take it slow n see where it goes.
There's another guy that i've talked to for months!! Never met him in person but he's a great friend.

I've met like 4 people off here. All great friends now. I dated one for three months, fell in love, but he got into an accident, fell into a coma then passed away two weeks later. I found the love of my life on this site. Now I have to try to find someone else. But moving on is so hard to do.

My cigarette didn't make it out of the camaro and I lit his back seat on fire on the highway. Needless to say he was all over the road trying to put it out... But he still gave me a ride home

I've met over 100 people but GA Chat is the most active state group. Most of the people I hang out with are on this site. We have parties and hang out all the time. I've been here almost 4 years, off and on, and when I've left, it was because I was in a relationship or had stalkers. Only gone out on real dates with men maybe 5 times the entire duration. I was actually in a relationship with a guy I met in here like a year ago he was a straight BUM he had a security Job though only problem is when I met him he slacked off. He quit his job and didn't wanna work and always asked me for money on top of that he was a single dad not only that but he had another baby he hid from me during the whole relationship. Im glad it's over. I'm starting to losse faith in this website for companionship a lot of the men on here are liars and cheaters.
