I am bright, unconventional, generous, playful, independent, consistent, faithful. Coffee is like a good start. Holding hands and staring into space could work too. Just as long as you stare into your own space because I am fairly territorial about the space I stare into. - Well I suppose I could share if you're nice.
I am looking for: sincerity, honesty, independence, warm, thoughtful, good sense of humor, social conscience, affectionate, reliable, intelligent.
Expectations: I am seeking a relationship of equals where respect, trust and compromise are essential or nothing at all.
If you have a personality that needs to caretake others move on. I do NOT want someone who thinks their mission is to fix me or my children. We don't need to be taken care of either.
I would appreciate someone who is prepared to 'correct in the spirit of gentleness' me or my children but not if you think it is your MISSION.

Daughters moved back in and I am still living my life-long dream of being a beatnik. Writing (about to publish my first book of short stories and prose/poetry), painting and drawing (doing illustrations for the book) and drawing musicians as they perform at the 'Times Change' Blues club in Winnipeg.
Income is stable as I am retired from teaching.
The photos don't show the grey creeping in to my hair - but I still have hair (usually clean but almost never combed).
