Lost my one and only man to cancer April 18, 2008. I created a profile on my work computer on this site in July of 2008 that my boss posted a pic on for me. Nickname was "Hannah0728". Don't know how to transfer the pic to this profile on my home computer. I miss having a man to share my life with and to share in his life. Doing things as a team is always better than being alone. I have been alone for nearly two years now and would like to be in a one man-one woman long term relationship again. I enjoy going on day trips to explore Wisconsin historical sites, museums, wineries, going to auctions and antique shops, going to movies and checking out new restaurants. Lately I discovered a nearby small bar that has become a kind of "Cheers" to me and I like to go there to socialize with all the friends I made and to listen to karaoke. It's a good place to watch Packers & Brewers games. The new people I met there, both men and women, guessed my age at 42 to 48!!
I make friends easily but I don't need another friend. I want a life partner, a mate. I have worked hard all my life and made my own way with no help. I have owned two homes since 1980 and maintained each one all by myself. I never married and have no kids, but I did raise my brother's son. I have also owned a female black Lab since 1980 and the one I have now is only my third one. (She is two and a half years old) I once owned a horse for 24 years. I like doing stuff outside but, thanks to working at a papermill for 19 years doing work that was hard on my knees, I'm limited in the time I can spend doing things I like to do. I would really enjoy doing some fishing and camping. I enjoy going anywhere on the back of a motorcycle and purchased a 2006 Harley Street Bob in July of 2009.
I'm not a "girly-girl" and don't go to the beauty salon every week to get my hair styled or get it colored. No gray, yet!! I don't have fake nails glued on. I'm just an easygoing, laidback, drama-free Wisconsin girl who laughs easily, is real and likes to have fun, be spontaneous, and enjoys physical closeness. I have no baggage in the form of ex's or kids or unpaid bills.
