I used to be a shy person growing up, but have changed over the years. Some of the same insecurities of "am I pretty enough" or "am I good enough" still peek through sometimes, but I think everyone has a little bit of self-doubt. I have overcome most of those -- you only live once, and everyone is special. I always look for the good in people. Rarely do I mouth off to someone if they are acting rude or inconsiderate, but I have learned to not be walked all over either. I treat other people how I want to be treated. I try to put myself in other people's shoes. I saw a homeless man on the side of the road yesterday at a stoplight and his sign said, "I'm homeless, I'm ugly, and I need help." I immediately thought to myself, "You're not ugly" and that really got to me. If you love yourself, it will show.
I am a very giving person, perhaps at times too giving. But I have learned that I need to take care of myself and love myself -- I would be no use to anyone if that wasn't happening.
I love computers, I own a graphic design business, and could probably spend all day online if I had the time. 
Of course my kids are my life -- I have 3 boys and 1 little girl. I love to watch movies, play video games with my kids, READ, READ, READ -- oh, how I love books. I'm a "word nerd" -- love crossword puzzles and especially logic problems. Family get togethers are very important to me. I have a large family with a lot of nieces and nephews. Growing up I didn't have many friends, but I sure had my family, so that is huge for me.
I know there is something out there for me -- something grand and wonderful. Whether it be with a man or not, there IS something out there for me that is so spectacular and I look forward to discovering it when it comes.
