Where does one begin? I’m a retired professional who got bored sitting around so, I found another job I could enjoy. Confucius said, ”Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life”. I can say for a fact that this is so true. I have been blessed with the opportunity to hold the jobs, throughout my career, that I really enjoyed.
I hope to discover the many things we may have in common. Could it be…Cooking a romantic dinner together, Dining out, Camping, Traveling to places near and far. Perhaps it the pure joy of lying on a beach in the warm sun, an amusement park or a hike in the mountains. My bucket list includes a visit to all of the islands in the Caribbean. Nothing gets the blood flowing like an impromptu cruise on relatively short notice.
I’m not one to look for something casual, FWB, one night stands, to date a lot of women, serial dating, or whatever they call it now. I’m seriously looking for that one special woman to share the rest of our lives together. To stand beside me, not in front of or behind me, but as an equal…My lifelong partner.
The perfect woman for me won’t be found by stipulating certain requirements to which she should measure. I was taught at an early age that the quality of a woman isn’t dictated by the size of her body or the quality of her looks, but by the size of her heart and the quality of her character. I hope she would hold me to those same standards.
In my search, I try to look outside the box. Restricting oneself to draw within the lines will prevent you from seeing the rest of the world around you and, as Albert Einstein once said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” You should be willing to adapt, not settle, to the changing conditions in your life and who you would choose to share your life with. I don’t want to waste one day wondering…What if?
With this said…If you discover that I have you as a favorite and haven’t contacted you, it’s because you deserve a closer look and I may be looking for a sign of mutual interest. I certainly don’t want to waste your time, or mine, pursuing something in which we both don’t have an interest in.
