Ok...who is a HOARDER? by null_n_void at 11/22/2010 5:34:21 AM I just watched a couple Hoarder shows with tears....now have this urge to go clean but I sure hope that passes. Woman had 8 thousand pounds of trash, garbage, dead petrified cats not to mention dog and human feces. Maybe I should get name into a nursing home before I get to be a hoarder. OMGGGGGGGGGGGG

I think I've thrown away stuff I needed because I didn't know what it was...oops My mom, however, will save receipts and papers from 20 years ago, or items she never has any intention of using - like workout equipment. She's not to the point of pounds of trash or dead animals, but she's definitely a pack rat.

I walked in his house for the first (and last) time and it was like an out of body experience, unbelievable! Null you are to dayum young to even think about a nursing home. Throw some shit out! :o)

madame58	11/22/2010 6:53:12 AM I've watched that show a few times and I guess I understand how it can happen...usually it's depression or some sort of addiction. But omg...how can anyone live that way? I'm kind of a neat freak so that will never ever happen to me!
rancid5055 online now!	11/22/2010 7:10:49 AM ive seen them first hand, lady had 2400 sf of trinkets, closthing, u name it could only walk thru the small path she left to the rooms, no dead animals though, and all appeared clean and neatly stacked

mslaugh online now!	11/22/2010 9:07:36 AM Sometimes before I go shopping I take a number of things out of the closet that I haven't worn. I count them, and that is how many things I allow myself to buy, if I happen to be shopping, and I buy somethings; I go to my closet, or drawers, and throw that many items into a bag to go to Goodwill. Today I am making a trip to Goodwill just to get rid of some things; doesn't it seem like the things you have reproduce, when you not looking?
calildy	11/22/2010 8:51:42 PM I turned that show on once or twice, and never made it through to the end. It grossed me out so much. I just can't imagine living like that.
