whoa...The key to getting a nice guy, is to not accept the bad ones. I read a lot about women who are all asking why they cant find a good guy. But, you have to ask yourself why these women stayed with them so long if they werent a good guy...
Sure this world is full of little shits that just deserve to get punked, but just remember dont accept the fact that you have to settle for a less then desirable man, just because you cant "find" the desirable one...Maybe try looking for potential partners from another angle...

well this is the first time I am responding to one of these. There are no clear cut answers to finding a nice guy. Not one person is perfect. We all have our flaws. But I think a nice guy would be someone who isn't looking to see what he can get. Doing little things for someone shows you are thinking of them. Bend a little you don't always have to be right. And as for all the nice guys are taken and the rest are asses? I would say not all of us are found yet. And just remember there are many things that attracted a person. Someone who is in shape maybe one. Full head of hair (leaves me out lol) And good conversation would be just a few.

Not all the nice guys are gone. Some of us are just shy. I see ads that women state " Looks aren't as important as personality" but for some reason I can't find a nice woman attracted to me and it makes a nice guy like me who is looking for the right woman to lose confidence in himself and well...as we all know women love a man with confidence. 
I'm not looking to a sympathy date or f**k, just to meet a nice woman.
Also being a smoker doesn't help me either

Hi i feel there are many so called nice guy's out there, i'm told by many that i am in fact one of them, and you ladies can go to my profile and see what you think. As with any posible love connection there has to be chemistry, and not every guy will be someone that you ladies will feel all warm and fuzzy about, and same with us guys, we too have a certain thing we are looking for whether it be a look or personaity, just because a guy doesn't or a girl doesn't respond does not mean they are not nice people just means perhaps the person wasn't what they were looking for........but people once you do find an interest you need to be willing to get past this computer. i personally have talked to many thru this site for long periods of time but once i finally ask them if we can meet then suddenly they can't leave the comfort of the computer........bruce

I'm going "the other route,". wth, y not. I'll tell you I'm a dirt bag, that is only looking for a one night stand. I'm sorry, but if women put a blog/post out saying they are "looking for a 'nice guy'," and are actually expecting a real/truthful response....well all I've got to say is you're killin' me. Not to say that guys who post on this are good or bad, but seriously. That would be like me starting a thread that says looking for a lady that won't break my heart. Not that any/all ladies would, just saying it is that rediculous. Best bet is to say start your thread with a specific quality, and go from there. Like...looking for a guy that is a responsible father. Or a guy that is financially stable. How about a guy that is a specific religion, or nationality, or anything that is really important 2 u. There are a million 'nice guys' out there, you should be more selective so you can find the right 'nice guy,' for you.

well laurie lets put it this way,i was married for 17 years,and over those years i always opened the door to the car and to any building we went into like a gentleman..i would also cook for her and clean.when we went out for dinner i would also ask he what she wanted and order for her.you know all the little things..but i can't seem to find a woman that can apprieciate the little things like that.most women aren't used to that,all they know is being treated like crap,and believe that their is nothing else out their and it makes it hard for a guy like me to find a woman that likes to treated as such

There are plenty of nice guys (and ladies) all over. The problem is us "nice guys" feel the same way... where are the cool women with no bashing or major issues they carry around?
Again, there are good people around... thing is to sift through the dirt before you find that diamond. And when you find the "good ones" the search is worth it.

There are plenty of nice guys (and gals) out there. That isn't the real problem now is it? What your asking for is are there any nice guys out there that fit your measure for what you think is a guy that will make you happy. Not something you can find out in a profile, some online chattng, or over the phone. This isn't a bad place to meet someone but until you spend time with them can you decide if they are a "nice guy". Don't think that I'm saying that every guy in here is a nice guy. There are quite a few twerps in here that will use someone for their own ends then when someone better comes along... bye, bye relationship.
I've been on these sights for quite awhile. Sometimes all I get is ladies that I am not attracted to. I have no problem being friends with anyone as long as they aren't mean spirited, but I will not go into a relationship that I know is doomed to fail because I'm not physically, mentally, or emotionally attracted to that person. I'm not shallow (I don't think) I just know what I like. I'm sure most people are the same. That doesn't mean that I cant be civil and nice to people. But I will always let the people know that I contact that its friends first until I'm sure that there is compatability and mutual attraction and respect.
Hope this wasn't too long-winded but I have been around the block a few times and maybe someone might benefit from my experiences.
