58dpilot Springdale, AR 62, joined May. 2012	What is fun is the fact checking that is taking place after speeches and declarations made at the DNC. So far 90% of what every speaker said on day one was misconstrued, misrepresented, dubious, incorrect, or downright lies. For example the new Governor of Mass stated that Romney left the state number 48 in job growth, while the reality was that when he took office it was 50th or dead last and when he left it was acutally 27th. The governor of Massecussets (how the heck do you spell Mass? My apologies to fellow citizens there!)told an outright lie. What was even more disconcerting was the vote they took at Obama's behest to change their position and declare that they support Israel and that Jeruselum is the capitol of Israel. That motion required a 2/3rds majority to pass. The speaker unable to determine on a voice vote if 2/3rds supported it the vote was taken not twice, but three times. Each time it sure sounded about even to me because I watched it on CSpan. None of the votes were even close to a 2/3rds majority but after the third vote the speaker declared the resolution passed anyway to a chorus of boos and catcalls. I believe you can find that on YouTube if you're interested in watching for yourself. The Democratic convention sounds good but that's all. Only sounds. No subsance, no reeality, very little truth. When you listen to what they say and check the facts most of it doesn't hold up even a little. They are creating things that don't exist to support their cause and being dishonest, too. I for one don't need that kind of fraud having anything to do with running the country.

58dpilot Springdale, AR 62, joined May. 2012	The Democrats seem to niss or ignore a few simple facts. Do you remember back in 2008 when Obama was debating Hillary in the Democratic primairies? He was extremely critical of Bill Clinton's presidency and policies, linking them to Reagan. Now he embraces Clinton as a great success that he will surpass if just given more time. Time for what? What did he do with his first four years? Four years is a long time to do nothing much except let Pelosi and Reid run things for the first two, then spend a lot of the next two on vacations, improving his golf game, fundraising, and campaigning for re-election. Four more years isn't going to get Obama, the democrats, or the country anywhere anyway. With the Republicans controlling the majority in the House, and especially if they take the majority in the Senate on November 6, Obama will be a true dead duck. This illustrates another huge flaw in the Democratic agenda. Under these conditions, if Obama wins the presidency again we will get nothing for the next four years because he won't have any support from Congress. On the other hand if Romney wins at least we'll get "something". We are in dire straights and we really need something NOW, not four more years of nothing. [Edited 9/7/2012 9:03:26 AM ]

pelham12345 Bronx, NY 35, joined Dec. 2011	The reason why when Romney left Gov of Mass their job GROWTH was 48th was because they had one of the highest EMPLOYMENT RATES/LOW UN-employment in the country. In fact they had a lowly 4.5% UN-employment rate.. Which is almost as low as it can get since there is never, ever zero.. In really good economic times unemployment i usually around 3.5-4%ish. But yea the fct checking sites had alot of work with the DNC.. One factcheck site found 8 serious lies/untruths in obamas speech and only 5 'minor spins' in romneys. Probably also because the RNC wasnt really too much about tearing down obama, unlike te DNC.
