I joined this site because I was curious if it might work but I was getting tired of all the guys who are "currently" in Nigerian or Afghanistan.
So I set my profile to invisible for quit some time. Well I dont give up that fast and things were changing at the beginning of this year. I noticed a profile with a picture taken by cellphone but the man was so freaking funny,goofing off about himself...I decided to drop a line. The best decision I ever made!
Let me clue you in...
I am living in Germany and the guy I am talking about is living in Utah/USA! 
So we started writing emails,talked on phone,talked on the web cam and it felt like I have known this person my whole life. That was in the beginning of 2012....
Lucky me I have friends in Utah. So I decided to come over for a visit....
What happened in the next couple of days was absolutely amazing! 
Do you know how it feels like when you meet somebody and you simply KNOW ,this is the person you wanna spend the rest of your life with? I thought "hey stuff like THAT happens in movies."...but it happened to me.
We got married on September,16th 2012 in Reno/Nevada and he will be in Germany pretty soon!
Everybody is excited to finally meet him.

CONGRATS!! i'm involved in a LDR so i look at the posts in "Success Stories" to feel more confident about my own decisions sometimes! no one understands the dynamics that go into these relationship better than people who have gotten involved in them PERSONALLY. AND because i like to think about POSITIVE things, i look in positive places for inspiration.

Well I am not sure how long I still keep my profile on here though.

Congratz that is amazing ...patience is something alot of people do not have ...everyone is such in a rush but do not want to take the time to make things work ..

OMG...all the scammer on here are still pissing my off though but it seems they are just EVERYWHERE!
