Ironic fact. A few weeks ago I went to pioneer square to socialize.
People were awkward.
I went into the visitor's center.
A nice elderly lady suggested Powell's.
I found it but people were busy reading.
Even the crazy blue painted guy did not want to chat.
"I don't mean to be rude, but English is pissing me off lately."
Two days ago I went to meet someone. That day I seen an angry hooker, news guy and a new that almost gave me a blessing but ran off when I said I'm not Jewish and didn't get my blessing.

go to Saturday market/waterfront area on the weekend...you'll find a lot of people to "socialize" with

"Ladywhirly" (her real name was Katie Covert)
Committed suicide January 13th
I've been going through her posts and laughing(and crying)and thinking about her.
I really liked her a LOT. her views were spot on with my own and I felt she was a kindred spirit.
I massaged her the night she killed herself and asked her to call me to talk, but apparently she had already made her decision.
Katie, I hope you rest in peace beautiful girl. I wish I could have made your life... worth living
