Let them make that choice to not take the help you offer seeing as it is there own life and their own choice. You tries to help...they have to live with the choice they make....we can only control ourselves

WWYD if you saw a kitten or puppy on the side of the road.
Had that happen.
Stopped at a red light, in a truck with two buds, coming back from golfing.
Car in front of us slowly goes forward..and out of it's left rear wheel well tumbles a tattered kitten.
Chinese Fire Drill with us..stopping traffic, scooping the kitty up, trying to get the car it fell from to stop.
Got the kitty, scrapped up some, to a vet right down the street. No major injuries.
She was named Abby, after the street she fell out onto (Abercorn), and given to a woman who had to put her cat down due to feline leukemia.

I would get closer to the woman and ask her if she needed help with my phone on and ready to call 911.
