Oh no Star...I'm so sorry. I just saw reference to this on Fishy's thread...I missed it earlier or yesterday, and I'm sorry for that as well.
I think we are all at that age when we start loosing our parents...so as you can see, you have a lot of friends and sympathy here...and I'm sure all, along with myself have said a prayer for you, your mom, and your family.

Star, I've missed this thread..I am so sorry for your loss...none can minimize the loss of a mother {{{{hugs}}}
When my mom was passing, I was there for every minute of it. As I traveled the 60 miles from my home to her hospital bed, and as person so plugged into music, this song gave me comfort and I played it over and over as I made the daily trek. It gave me comfort...I hope it does the same for you.

How are you doing, personally, Dust, these 5 days since your mother's death? I hope you are remembering to take care of yourself.
I hope you had plenty of loving support during your mother's uneral. Was she buried in Kansas? Or flown to another state for burial?

Thank you Cup,
My mother's wish was to be spread over my father's grave in Ohio.
We are taking care of the final arrangements and my daughter in Ohio along with my mothers sister will see to it.
The family is taking it well, after her stroke then kidney failure it was to be expected.Everyone got to say their goodbyes, and her last words to me was," I love you".Probably her first words to me also.
I'll be heading back to work Friday, knowing she's at peace now.
This thread has been a life raft for me, I wish all the threads were full of so much love.

What a wonderful compliment!
I think I'm still in a little shock, but it's soaking in, and for the love of God I swear, the very same thing happened when I lost my precious child. It's as if I can feel them all around me, letting me know they're ok. I don't know how else to explain it.
Deep within my heart and soul I know they are in heaven and all is well with them.
It took me years to come to terms losing my daughter, but I have.
I miss her terribly and think of her everyday. Now I know they have each other it somehow feels right.
Someday I'll be called home and I know I will see them again. That gives me peace of mind
