Who am I?
I am a jeans and casual shirt kind of guy who cleans up well when the occasion merits but it must be a pretty special event to get me to don a suit. I much prefer riding on my tractor to riding in a BMW. I enjoy visits to the city or 'burbs but always retreat back to the country. My hair is usually windblown or suffering from a severe case of hat head and at the end of the day you will usually find me dirty. I enjoy country auctions and refinishing antique treasures I may find there. I am an accomplished woodworker and fairly handy around the house. (You know what they say....if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.)
The above is not meant to say I am a good 'ol boy though. I am reasonably intelligent, educated and articulate with a good (albeit quirky I am told) sense of humor; I can take a joke and give back as good as I get. You are hereby warned that I am quiet but not to the point of being introverted and I can carry my end of a conversation on a broad range of topics. I don't do drugs nor do I smoke and my drinking is confined to an occasional glass of wine. I am all for tasteful PDA's; I enjoy touching and being touched. I am absolutely not the jealous, needy or clingy type. Friends describe me as multifaceted, easy going and one of the most patient people they know.
I tried the business world with its suits and ties and cubicles but I traded it for a life working in the great outdoors and the elements have left their mark on me. My features are a bit weathered but my soul is still young. If you seek a "distinguished" metrosexual, import car driving man, I am not the one for you!
I work for a wind energy company and my job requires that I travel often and for long periods of time. It is not just a job, it is a lifestyle and one it seems many women cannot accept. (While so much time away is a definite negative, the company is very good about letting partners join us for visits on the road and I am sent to some interesting places!) I am seeking a strong, independent woman who is intelligent, attractive, on the slender side, young of heart, mind and spirit with a quick smile, an easy laugh and who values her own time yet misses being part of a couple.
