love2bbq Iowa City, IA 57, joined Mar. 2011	wow where do i begin? well i woke up and i havent heard from the boss by 8 am and he wasnt here to pick me up so i called someone else and helped them out. so he picks me up and we head out to his shop which is in the country. his roof needed fixing. so we get there and i start repairing the rafters. i get done with that and set the ladder up out side but the wind was blowing so hard it was blowing the ladder over all the time. well i finally got up on the roof and had the guy hold my ladder so it wouldnt blow over again but he was having a hard time trying to hold it to i think. so any way im up on this metal roof which was slick like a ice skating rink trying to screw it down the wind wasnt helping me stay put i still slid down. well got that done and i came home and was doing some other stuff then we were putting our plants in the house for the winter. well i have this huge plant that is kinda heavy and i picked it up and was carrying it to the house when my boss drives by then backs up and sits out front of my place and waits till i put the plant down then he calls me to tell me that he was out front waiting for me so he could give me my check. well i go out there to get it and he asked why i didnt call him to tell him that i was free to work. i asked why didnt you call me? then he said i heard you dont want to work at the house where we are working at. i said who said that? he said not important. i told him if there is any question as to what i say you should call me and ask. he shrugs it off. then he says well you ought to talk to me about it. i say i try to but you dont listen and change the subject. he tells me not to cop a attitude with him i say i dont cop one till you do as he rolls his eyes and head, just like you are right now. you never listen to me you dont care about me all you think about is you. then he starts to say something and i and i did what he always does raise my voice so i can be heard over him to shut him up and i said i dont f**king care anymore i have had enough and slam his truck door and walked away yelling at him enough i dont care anymore and he drives off and i was smiling. well lets see if i have a job come monday morning god i hope not. i cant work with him anymore at all. no communication from his side i never know when im working or anything. its time to move on. beside i cant live on 33 dollars a week from him or less sometimes. he thinks he is doing me a favor well he aint. well that was my day i think i will go to the bar and drink my $33 up tonight.

Messed up over a half f million dollars worth of product on Wednesday(slight paperwork fudging and it may go in noticed). And yesterday I blew 700$ worth of belts on one of our machines. Only a day and a half left of work thank god

I see people fishing from the tracks around here at times and just don't think I need a fish that badly. But, yes I do remember reading, supermarkets and laundromats are great places to meet men.... of course, I remember thinking, that I would rather meet a man that owns his own washer and dryer, but that may just be me!

The best is I've got everything cleaned up and trailers empty. rearranged in the barn, getting ready for scraping inside this winter. Today have to go bid/buy a load of heavy scrap. The cycle starts over, yeah. Tomorrow, the day starts with a root canal, no yeah. finishes with a eucher tournament.

Well, last Thur I kept falling asleep while he cleaned and then filled a couple of teeth. I'm always totally relaxed in the chair. Have to remember to take my check book, $480 for RCanal, not as relaxed when writing the check,LOL. Still about 1/2 price.

Good luck larr I was going to say that sure sound cheap for root canel I thought I paid about $750 for each one couldn't afford to get them capped so well probably have to have more work done on them because of it. I also noticed I have a broken tooth way to the back. Wonder how long I can go before having that fixed. Okay today daughter missed the bus don't ask me why either it was my fault. hehehhee Yes good excuse to take her in and get my brevas. I droped off cd's that i burnt for a friend. She is going to az this weekend so now she will have music to listen too. Hoping it warms up so can do somethings outside. At 2 I have to go pick up daughter from school and then her mom from her house and take her to a different town for a appointment. Then come back and drop them both off at her house. Daughter is going to take daughter tricker treating and then she is going to spend the night there. Wonder how that is going to go over. This is a new place that she is living so my 7 year old hasn't slept over yet. Ex is coming over at some point today to pick up some more stuff from his workshop. lol 3 years later and he is still collecting stuff. Which don't bother me but I think he is picking up a motor today so hope he comes early enough that I can help if he needs help that is. So that is my day today wonder if all will go like clock work hehehehhe

No deals around here either, Iza! I hate the dentist and I don't care who it is! My Dad used to fall asleep when he went too, and I still can't understand why plain fear doesn't keep one awake! Yikes! It looks like it will be a another great day! I am torn between the need to finish raking, cleaning the house and going shopping. Have a feeling, nothing is going to get done tho. Oh well.

I decided the college would do. They are going to be slow, I let my teeth go out on the road. Kind of like Johnny Cash building his Cadillac. I may have to get a little stubborn, they want to give me a cadillac mouth,lol.

He has presented a very compelling case. so to reconstruct my mouth it will cost $2700., wow. If it wasn't at the college it would be $6ooo. dbl wow. start this next Fri, soft foods for 6 weeks, dbl oh crap. No smiling for 6 weeks, may become a hermit for first couple weeks. It would be a good time to return to the treadmill. That might just be the plan. I want to put a 3/4 bath in my basement, it would occupy my time. Today, till gdn, mow and bag yard, put clippings on gdn as mulch. This evening I'll go to Riverside Casino for my free buffet, crab leg night, can't eat the rest of Nov. It takes weeks for me to get a full load of anything, but my daughter is visiting and brought hers along, yippie for me I had full loads. Was so happy until the last load in the washer was finished. I waited through the entire spin cycle because I wanted to finish it up. When I opened the washer, it was empty! Yeppers, somehow I had not put the load of clothes in before I started it. I hate when that happens!

I filled the feeders today for the winter birds, cardinals, blue jays and woodpeckers have been hitting them hard. Of course the cats are stalking them, so I have to sit out side with the BB gun until they remember what they are NOT supposed to do!

Planning to dig up portions of the floor, putting in additional sewer lines to add 3/4 bath to basement. Did what we could in basement, then went out to the acreage. I have a 14' cargo truck box that I sanded and painted it International tractor red. We mounted it on a twin axel trailer, and secured it down. need to do a bit of roof repair, then I'll give it to my son for christmas, lol. Tired and hungy when I got home, ate watched football. Decided to lay down for a nap at 6, BAD BAD idea. Woke up at 2 am, an 8 hr nap, Izabo, not even the blanket trick is going to work then. So I've been up4+ hrs now, lol. Maybe I take a nap at noon today, wake up at five and go to the tavern ,,, gotta check how well i did in the football pool., only missed 2 sofar. I've been doing well in the pools, keep leaving the tavern with more money than when I went in,. Today, pay off credit card, doit monthly. Buy some aluminum sheet metal to patch roof of truck box. Go to Walmart to buy blender/food processor for next week after they remove the teeth, and Yes , I grilled the kid on my options, I could save a few bucks but he feels I would be back eventually for the partials anyways. I've started talking/coffee with a lady who knocked her front teeth out in Turkey whule on vacation. So I'll still have a coffee partner,lol Time to call the plumber. WINDY LARR

izabo Ocheyedan, IA 58, joined Aug. 2012	My ex bought a 5th wheel trailer and is going to put a box on it then put more power wash equipment in it. We still have a uhaul truck that we first started the business with but then went on with other trucks. lol everyone around likes that we have it so they can use it to move with but still don't want to buy it lololol. Ex is going to take the box off and use the truck to haul the 5th wheel around. The uhaul is one of those thing that is half his half mine lolol guess that brings the clear meaning to cutting property in half hahahahah. It is okay though if he takes it doesn't matter to me. He put all the trucks together for the power washing business. I slept 6 hours last night so maybe whatever was bothering me is being resolved in my head lololol who in the world knows. Today well need to dressed. Then work on the work truck today and clean this house and do laundry today. It is going to rain all day. Need to call customers and go get paid for jobs or checks are going to go back bad. All this week and half of last no one has paid when job was done. I still have to pay workers though sigh................ We will see how the day goes for my plans always change. It is a good thing I can go with the flow.

So i want to measure a cable on work truck so asked for string he gave me tape measure told him i wasn't coming back for couple days. Lol I'm going back now lol. Can i ask if he is married? Or ask if he has anything else he can send with me so i have a reason to come back?
