I believe in love, it's where I came from and when I am expressing my true self, coming from love in my everyday life, tis wonderful. 
Soul mate, I would have to say, everyone I've been in relationship with has been my soul mate in that they have been a teacher for me to realize my true worth. 
Looking forward to the man who's willing to love me now that I am prepared to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
And so I thank my past soulmates for the lessons and the blessons,and look foward to the day my true love crosses my path.
no matter what happens , I'm grateful.

This is right on target. Yes I believe in soul mates and in love. I have had 2 great loves in my life and 3 soul mates. You can have both in one person, but I think it is rare.

two kinds of love in the world.. first is and are infants loving parents, grandparents or people much older who care for and love the lil buggers up everyday and make their lives good, and whole.. now that is real love..
the other is companion love.. the familiaraity that is gained through time with a person.. that begins as heated passion and continues until all the is is complete faithful following of one then the other to each other.. my grand parents and parents had that, and some of my lucky friends have that..
do i believe in love..never say never..am i willing to be faithful to achieve the high state of equalness and love that was my parents and grandparents.. yes i would..so yes i do believe in love...

i always ask this question, which do you believe in sex before moving in or after, and if it is before do you call it sex or dating? i call it sex and it has nothing to do with dating other than one may date just to go out and see the world and thn come home to the main event of talking and cuddling after good satisfiying sex.. that is when you talk..skin to skin and heart to heart

Now this is odd! I just found that song and came back to link it and there is is.
That picture is my favoite of Lee Bogle. One day I walked it to a art galary and saw that picture and fell in love with it. No I don't have it. I wanted to have it framed with a shadowbox effect with a Golden Feather at the bottom. All of his Art work is awesome.

I very seldom go to the movies. I will be going to Twilight in two weeks I don't care if I will be alone I want to watch it. This song reminds me of that movie.
I have read (listen to) a series of books by Diana Gabledon Outland series. Yes it is all fictional but the author did a awesome job of soulmates in it.

have had enough life for a couple people.. i dont say that folks that know me do. from the time in the army jumping from planes climbing mountains, shooting at folks and them shooting back.. rescue work with the world health organization and on and on..
soul mate to me and blood brother are the same.. male or female you eat the dirt from somewhere and survive you are a soul mate cause you are a blood brother.. no matter what else you are uniquely in key for that one special place and time in your life and always will be...
falling in love.. now that is a mess.. can happen and you cant stop it..just try.. laughter.. and the heat is hotter than all of hell put together..

I like your insight on this thank you! It will give me food for thought. I had always thought as blood brothers as more of honor code two people that know they have eachothers back and KNOW that tell death they will be there for them. So how do they know that? because they are soulmates. As someone else said earlier that soulmates can be male or female and that their can be more then just the one.

My definition of what a soul is....
Human attributes that are distinct from the physical body. My conscious thought and will. My emotional and moral nature. Unique to me.
What you describe in your initial post sounds to me more like chemistry. That attraction that comes from both the physical and a meeting of the minds. Always a good place to start. But someone who was destined to be with me? I doubt that. I believe it is life experiences that brings two people together and how they deal with them that keeps them together. Someone who has walked through the fire beside me. I have never believed that one person could "save me." Or make me a better person. That comes from within me... my moral compass and inner strength. My soul. But one who is willing to accept me for who I am and willing to walk beside me knowing my flaws, then yes, that would make him both my mate and a part of my heart (love). But my soul is still unique to me just as his is to him.
