actually when i became a warrant we were allowed in either the nco or officer's club. by the time i got home from vietnam we were 'restricted' to the o club. i use the word 'restricted' as it seemed like a punishment more than a priviledge.

Yeah jrbogie.The only warrants I got to know were chopper pilots, some as young as me.None of them acted like officers, they were all hotshots and huge gonads though! The sound of rotors still makes me look up! Okay guys get ur challenge coins out, its time for somebody to buy a round!

I gotta tell ya brother this is "the big one". Worse hangover Ive had since R&R in Bangkok. I threw a party this weekend and it lasted until Monday morning.I actually had two naked midgets sleeping in my shop (a male and a female) when I got up Sunday and went over and looked. Hes a stockbroker and his girlfriend works for MickeyD at the airport. Every once in a while we do this and its a lot of fun, but Im getting too old! BTW. I tried your cure and hurled all over the front porch.Finally got some "bitters" and drank those and they stayed down.That white lightening I drank was just too rank-I didnt make that batch and if theres any left I'll use it to light fires!!! Stay safe brother ya got a Nor'easter coming your way.PUT ON UR LIFEJACKET!

Most affirmative Bier! All our cops are vets and most belong to our Post, most are Marines or Army and a few swabbies (good ones)!. Where I live is sort of "country" Im across the river from Lawrenceburg Indiana and just a few miles up river is Cincinnati. I guess Rabbit Hash is as close to a hippy haven has Kentucky has to offer, lots of farm land and its just close enough to the Northern Ky./Cinci area for shopping etc. My folks spent nearly their entire adult lives here and passed the place on to me.Anyway everybody knows each other or is related in some way and it makes for a nice close community. Unless you are way out of line our Sheriffs Dept. will cut "locals" some slack and if you've had a few too many these guys will ride ya home from the Post or a bar before they let you get on the road and maybe hurt yourself or somebody else.Same with us guys.We never let a brother get into his vehicle shitfaced. I drove guys home and had somebody else follow me so his car would be in the driveway in the morning for work! Hell, last New Years I slept at the Post back on a couch in the office!

They had a free, open to the public dinner at the Legion. Didn't happen by the VFW. I just took a nice, long drive. Haven't had one in a while. Hope everyone is safe.

Wondering what you all did when you got out... I really feel like going back in... I have been out just over 2 years and I miss being around people. My son is not going to be able to spend Christmas with me.... it is not the first time... and well... I wish I could just go back........ Everything is going to be closed for Christmas...
