Women at certain age begin to need men less and less in order to complete them.
Their families become more of a priority than their own personal needs.
Yet,they still appear on datesites to accomplish what ?
Are they seeking the "one" who has all the desired qualities although they state
that they know no one is perfect ? 
Does this translate into not wanting to "settle for less"?

I think some women do need men less as we get older. We've either gotten to a point where having friends is more important than risking our hearts. I don't feel that anyone, male or female, should NEED anyone to "complete" them. If you need someone then maybe there's something lacking within yourself that you're hoping someone else can bring to the table. We all should be full, complete people on our own, then we can fully offer ourselves in a relationship. Just my personal take on it.

missme, your name says it all, no? and to answer the question...although I may seem very composed, this woman needs men or a man much more than ever before. I think about sharing what I'm doing all of the time. Even when my kids were still with me, it was a priority that seemed to be controlled by nature. As for seeking the one, being completed by the other, and settling for less, that stuff is all mixed in as part of thoughts and feelings...I think many of us struggle with it. Thanks Guy

When it comes to sex age can have a lot do with it,but,when it comes to relation ship,that can probably be based on one's life style.Some people actually feel they need some one or their life is not complete.Some its personal wants.Now that i'm older,i'm actually looking,but when i was younger i really had no concerns towards women or relation ships.Depends all on the individuals life style.(This is only my opinion)

I am 41 and don't need a man but I would like one. I think it all depends on a person's perspective and I also think that the older we get our priorities change. I miss the companionship and sharing your life with someone other than your children. My opinion.

I don't think need is gender specific. Some people are just needy. I think everyone wants to have someone in their life I mean really who says I want to be alone and have no one in my life. But....as we as people not just women age and have relationships we learn more of what we don't want so this makes us not settle as we did when we were younger. I am hoping to find someone I am compatible with, not superstar looks but attractive to me. Not Mr perfect but perfect for me.

No I am watching my grand kids this week end , or doing their hobbies or sports or out with family or friends ,,what ever.. These free single sites are just a joke or past time , to them ..they will never commit to really dating anyone! // All I ask is just to be friends and visit once in a while.. To find another to do ever thing with seems impossible older plp are set in our ways.(and maybe best to live alone) But what is wrong with knowing lots of different people before we died alone.
