There is a distinctive society of people throughout this globe that ride. Take a look at say, Bikers for Babies, Trail of tears, and so on. Millions of people share this interest. It would be an absolute travesty to not open a Riders Forum. So,..... JUST DO IT!!

Such a group should either create multiple rider choices or just label it for motorcycles and not just Harley! (that is so offensive to cater to one brand of motorcycle.)
If you ride, it should never matter what you ride.
Riders who bond as motorcyclists understand this notion and know there is NOT only one motorcycle type or brand to ride.
Our riding freedoms are at risk all over the USA - if we don't start bonding as one entity our freedoms will disappear one by one until we are so restricted we'll be confined to riding just like in the 4 wheel'd cages.
If sub-grouping under a Motorcycle Group then I'd suggest these be added:

I love Harley Riders,Bikers they are the nicest people and i love to ride B----,I do not have one anymore been long time.My husband an i was going to get one a few years ago,but god took him 1st.I would love to get one,not sure if i could hold it with one bum leg, Last year i went to Poopys in Savanna,Ill.so cool,an a very nice guy gave me a ride around lot,it made my day,gave me a boast.i was lonely an sad.an the ride made me smile for longtime.i still do.He is a total stranger,on a Harley an Angel.Ride safe all. Watch out for the other guy.

I just posted once,I Signed up for this dating but not sure if i am ready for it,my wedding ring fell off,i thought that a sign, i think it was weight i lost.There are lots of people on here feel the same way,lonely,sad,not sure,i would like a ride on Harley,i know there are guys out there that some times want some one on back of bike,as friends do,so if there is. i would love to go,and pay my own way, no strings attached.Just 2 new friends,enjoying ride.I know crazy right,i am not i promise..i am honest,trusting,not a kook,or drugs.Just like to ride.Just thought i,d ask.?

One of the main things I check for is a love for motorcycles, not necessarily Harleys, but Harley & Biker go together like peanut butter & jelly, Abbott & Costello, but-I also believe motorcycling & kiker are in the blood, no matter what you ride-but cant do better than a Harley Davidson * there is no substitute!

  ...I thought it was time I broaden my horizons and see if this site (that I've been on for months) had a room for Harley owners/Bikers. I'm glad to see it here. I've owned and riden bike bikes for years...I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Road Glide Ultra (FLTRUSE). So far, I have put 1500 miles on it...rode it from WA to AZ in one road trip. I bought it in WA...and trying to get it home to Mo. I'm half way there but will have to wait til next year to finish the trip. My brother is looking after my bike until I get home from overseas. I'm a civilian contractor working in Iraq in direct support of out troops...this is why I will have to wait until next year to finish the trip. Gee...only 6 more months and 1200 miles to go to get my pride and joy to it's new and final home...I can't wait! While my bike is laid up in Phoenix...my brother is taking my bike into Arrowhead Harley Davidson to add some more "man jewelry" to it...I hope to see some photos after the final additions are made and put them on my profile for everyone to see. In the meantime...I'm working everyday to keep soldiers safe...and I'm keeping my head down as well. Up until today...I was on a site called Biker Planet...it was full of poeple who were hardcore bikers..I'm not that kind of person...I love big bikes...especially my Harley...but by no means am I a guy that wears ripped up jeans and a leather jacket...so I cancelled my membership. I love to ride...anywhere is my destination...and I love my job taking care of our country's finest...I hope to make friends amongst y'all in the biker community... for now...

Love it! I don't ride (although I would if I could afford a Harley), but I grew up on Harleys. My stepdad was a biker and rarely did a sunny day pass that we didn't go for a ride, except during his yearly trip to Sturgis.

I agree we need a motorcyclist group. Not necesarily a harley cor biker group. They are a lot of us who put a lot of miles in our motorcycles but do not subscribe to the harley or biker style or claimed way of life.
I ride a sports tourer and put more miles in it than my I put in my car.
Anyone for a ride?

At the exclusion of other and far better Bikes? I am no fan of the cage.. however you may as well plan on groups for every make and model of every other car and truck too. otherwise how can it be realistically fair? Harley Davidson is just a name now that carries a stigma attached to it by upstanding members of the communities pretending to be social outcasts. as if they think the name of the Bike will enhance their image,.. or even worse.. carry the poor one they already have. So, in short.. unless all makes and models are represented, my vote is no, as i am thinking of the bigger picture.
I am Miami Indian.. so lets also make one called "Indian Riders" named after the Indian Bike.. which is far superior to any Harley Davidson.. in performance and in reliability.
only other way to be fair and include all bikers.. is to call it just that: here is a list of ideas:
#1) "Bikers"
#2) "Cage Haters" (Biker terminology- cage is anything that represents a car, van, truck.. et cetera.. anything you set in that surrounds you that has 4 or more wheels)
#3) "Motorcycle Lovers"
#4) "Bikes not Trikes"
#5) "2 Finger Salute"
#6) "Freedom Rollers"
#7) "Straight Lined Riders"
#8) "Men not Boys & Tassles not Girls"
#9) "Sissy Seat Express"
okay i was being funny on the last two.. still.. you get my point.. right?
