Op,

The body adapts to a low calorie diet by slowing calorie use. That's why low calorie diets stop working. It's a survival adaptation. Cycle in higher carb first meals everyday or every other day so that your body increases calorie use a bit to get your diet back to working. On weekends you can make that higher carb meal any other meal to accomodate social plans. I recommend that higher carb meal as the first meal on weekdays because the body's metabolism is higher earlier in the day.
