I know that finding recipes is easy but what do you feel would be good
for a cookie club exchange. I am going to try old fashion tea cakes.
The ladies in my church group are older. I want to do a brown bag
with apples and oranges along with cookies and nuts like my dad said
he use to get when he was young.

thats a great idea. Sunday school teachers usta do that for us kids too! They saved coffee cans n decorated em with paper n gliter n such n stuffed em full of fruits nuts n cookies! And a scripture! That would make a great gift to take to a nursing home or childrens ward at local hospital! I yr we made several dif flavored cupcakes by the dozen took five boxes to church four to school and handed out ten to friends n family took three to wrk. Lol still had five boxes at home we my kids n i baked all week long! But its awesome i still have people asking wheres my cupcakes! We r doing the 12 cookies of chrustmas but im still looking for recipes cuz im not at twelve yet so we may have to do it next yr! My mom usta make boxes of donuts, homemade fudge cookies rum balls cinnamen rolls, divinity, and popcorn balls with fruit n nuts all home made for friends family neighbors school church nursing home we cooked from thanksgiving till christmas eve to hand out so much and lol happy memory!

we are not making peanut butter cookies, my fav, due to the peanut butter and peanut recall. Sooo sad those were going to be my first day cookies! Shortbread is good too drizzled with chocolate! I found recipe for chocolate covered cherry cookies! Mmmmm cant wait! It was on cooks.com. I love that site!!
