Anyone ever do a Black Feather excursion?

Actually I am looking at going on one of their many excursions.

I like their Auyuittuq trips. It is expensive, however, you only
live once. If you are into the wild outdoors and want to see
some really awesome scenery, that would be one to seriously take
a look at.

Sounds good. I enjoy being adventurous in a safe way.

I'm just tired of traveling alone. It was fun years ago, but no more.

Never had any desire to go to Greenland. Uncle was stationed there in the Air Force. Nearly froze his ... unit ... off the face of the earth without the canoe trip.

Auyuittuq is a Canadian National Park on southern Baffin Island.

Check out the website:

Temps in the summertime range from the low 40's to the 60's and
even 70's.

I can understand how your uncle froze his butt off in the wintertime
in Greenland......but this is not Greenland. Close but no cigar Cup.

The thing about using Black Feather is that you go with a group albeit unfamiliar people and professional guides. So it is safe.

However, it is a lot more expensive with Black Feather.

I considered organizing a group of hikers to go on an Auyuittuq excursion to keep the cost down and I could not find enough people interested. I did alot of research and made several phone calls to outfitters in Pangnirtung(starting point of excursion). So I have a alot of info........latest maps, outfitter prices, overnight B & B, etc. The people up there do not speak much English, so it is difficult getting thorough information.
