So why do men get blamed for everything? Lets say rape yes most of the rape crimes are men but women rape to. Most men get blamed for domestic assault or murder or some other crime. Women do the crimes to. Even in everyday life men get blamed for alot things that women do just like men

thats tru but i think the percentages of who is doing what is not the same. just like u can find some children beat up their parents but we know there are more parents abusing children.

I think it is because some people STILL do not want to believe that a woman(A.K.A. caregiver, baby-carrier, nurturer, etc) would really ever do anything bad. Women are capable of doing things that men are supposed to be the only ones capable of doing. I have been a C.O. in both male and female correctional facilities so I know that women can be just as deceitful and murderous as any male is accused of or proven to be...........but I'd still rather take my chances in a dark alley with a bunch of moms then in a dark alley with a bunch of males. he he

You can also blame police officers for being naive. They are never going to believe that a little tiny lady is capable of physically assaulting a man twice her size. They are never going to believe that a woman could try to force herself upon someone so much larger than her.
So in a way, the legal system itself is a bit biased. A guy I went to high school with is now in deep shit because of something that happened with him and his ex roomate. She wasn't paying the rent or anything, he tried to kick her out, she flipped out and starting beating on him, he tried to push her away (being old fashioned not wanting to hit a lady!) and she called the cops and said he hit her, and BAM! No questions asked, he was thrown in jail and she slapped a restraining order on him and now he's totally f**ked. The DA around here loves to prosecute boys.

I think what we should do is those of us asking why? why?..... Just take the step with yourself. You know let peace begin with me. Each one of us can do that we can have an impact on another and so on and so on and the world would not be the best place to be , but a better place to live. Peace begins with each one of us.... Real men and women step up to the plate... may I add God bless those who go unnoticed who fight for us to have the right to be here and give all of our some good wisdom and some just plain stupid remarks. Ahhh freedom!!!

This is a very hard topic to address. I agree with men get the bad rap on alot of things. I guess I think in alot of these situations that people are talking about there is three sides to the story. His, hers, and the truth. We all tell a story that puts a better spin on our side. There is hate and cruelty every where and it doesn't matter what sex you are. JMO

some men...including those in the justice system have the mentality that we must protect women. As we should, From other men. and often times the only proff we need is a word that says a man hit a woman and we fly off without thinking it over or asking proff.
Not wanting to see that a small woman is able to take down a man twice Her size. i know I can can down a man more than twice My size as i have had to resort to doing it before.
so why could a woman not do it...ESPECIALLY if she is using an illeagal substance like cocaine. Men get blamed many times because of other men not stopping to be smart. the next reason in almost any domestic case...the Mens facility is almost always closer.
I have never claimed to have met a piggy with a brain in these instances as Much as they keep the peace. and our country loves them for it. It can be an instance of a woman playing a man...so all I can say is get smarter. dont trust EVERYthing someone has to say.
and be more discerning when a woman comes up with no scratches or bruises on her saying her man hit her and he looks like he got in a fight with a badger on crank.

i know first hand that the system is against men. one day i was in an verbal argument with the ex wife (of 10 yrs), and with the way cali's. domestic violence laws i know not to touch a woman. not that i ever would anyways. but it ended up with her friend(a man hater) called the cops on me. saying that i threatned her with scissors, an was amped on meth, and other stuff. next thing i know im getting arested for terrorist threats @ $20,000 bail. the cop was implying i was amped out. i told him to get a cup to piss in, or take hair for a hair test. then he dropped that. but didnt believe anything else. the public defender didnt even believe me untill i unloaded on her that i didnt do anything but have a verbal fight. her attitude changed then and started to believe me because i stood strong on what happined. i told her i wanted to fight i and go to trial. i couldnt believe what she said: she told me that its not smart to fight it even if you didnt do it, because the jury is going to take the womans side, and its hard to sway them on the mans side. i couldnt believe it! if i lost trial i would get nailed to the fullist. i didnt even have any prior criminal record, or even a ticket in 10 yrs. with plebargins it was dropped to a loud verbal argument. in the end i had days in court, 6 months probation, 3 mo. anger management, $2000 bail, 6 mo restraining order. couldnt even see my kids. let me tell you it sucked. makes it hard to trust the system. just thought id share that. peace

Let this screwed up society tell it, guys are idiots, dead-beats dads, slobs, potential rapists / wife-beaters, and criminals.
What pisses ME off is that you have all these surveys about why guys do dumb shit, why guys aren't with their kids, and how many guys are so out of touch with emotions....but NO ONE is putting ANY effort into putting out surveys about chicks. You NEVER see a survey asking WHY guys aren't with their kids or what are the MOTHERS doing to run willing fathers away. You never see surveys about WHY guys aren't as sensitive as chicks wants them to be....or how many guys have just been pissed off, played, and emotionally beat down to the point where they just don't put themselves out there emotionally anymore.
Etc...
So in THIS country at least, guys are the black-eye....even though WE are the creators of everything on this PLANET...

I would love to put my two sense in but I dont want to fuel the fire. I do agree with a lot of what the Men here have been saying. What I will say is after one experience I saw first hand the manipulation that some women are willing to.
Yes, both Men and Women have miserable people. So until society becomes a utopian society there will always be inequalities.
What are YOU willing to do about it. Do you fall into the trap and hurt the next person or do you wait and find that right person for You?
Incidently, iwalk, made a very good point. There are no studies on the other side of the coin. Some men are louses. For the others there is nobody looking at what caused him to act that way. The answer usually is that is no excuse for you to... Well, sometimes it is. I would love to put these Men and Women who judge in the position of the poor slob who is being judged. How would they react in his position.
