Okay, this is real fast - I use to do this research when writing for a Dallas broker -
there are two from the following, electronics and firearms. Healthcare is also good

To find strong small-cap stocks, the Forbes Best Small Companies list is a great place to find ideas. While tens of thousands of investors may read it, I doubt many actually take action on the companies. That's where you and I can be different. If you haven't already, download this spreadsheet of the top 50 Forbes stocks.
To recap, the method used by Forbes in finalizing these strong small-cap stocks is quite simple:
strong sales and earnings growth
publicly traded for at least a year
generate annual revenue between $5 million and $1 billion
stock price no lower than $5 a share
excluded financial institutions, REITs, utilities, and limited partnerships
Let me go through the strong small caps from No. 4 to No. 10. You can read about Nos. 1-3 here.

No but apple is paying $2.65 per share tomorrow. Hedge funds don`t seem to like that so the green light I think it is wants to sue them. Sick asses can`t take a real company. New hack software coming soon for Iphones. Think they are going to 6% dividends at least per year now.

No it isn't the year to do that. Please watch the real news, what I mean by that is most sugar coat what is going on in this country. Take that money buy gold or silver, watch the market on it for a bit, then buy. If you follow what is really going on, our dollar isn't going to be worth anything, but gold and silver will take you thru the tough times, we haven't even begun to see the hard times that is coming up. When they print money with nothing to back it what do you get, nothing. Gold and silver goes into a lot of products, you can buy food, pay bills etc.

Hate to say but gold and silver is controlled too so it could be worthless also. Not sure there is a chance on anything long term.

You can win regardless of the market movement.... buy equities, or calls if the market will move up.... sell short or buy puts if you think the stocks are gonna fall.

Agreed. I personally start off small until I move up more within the financial markets. Small figures and percentages comes with less risk and as such I make my investments. I do want to start some investments within capital markets sometime down the road within my Accounting career......gamer

I'd take the 25K and toss it into the highest interest bearing CD I could find. I was burned to the tune of 65K a week after they quietly threw out the uptick rule. Luckily, I saw what was coming and pulled out the rest before the fall. I refuse to swim with sharks ever again.
