I'm seeing this guy. His name is Hakeem. His different than most guys I've talked too. He does have his own issues. But the more I talk to him the more I like him and I find something about him that I like. I must admite I'm very picky I don't date just any guy. I've been single since my ex died of cancer 3 years ago. I haven't opened my heart cause I was scared to end with the wrong person. But this guy is very different. His going to take me to meet his family this weekend and I'm a little nervous. Mostly because his family is christian and I'm not.

His also a cristian. I guess I've grown in the ghetto all my life and only met ghetto guys who just want to party. And the way I dress is not really appropiate for a cristian family. He said it was ok but I don't know. I mean I really like this guy and I don't want to lose him. And you ladies already know how hard it is to find a good guy this days. And when you finally found him you just can't just let him go.

Now I already told you not to worry. My mom she's really nice and my sisters and brother they are also very nice. Don't worry it will take time to adjust but you will. You can go as slow as you like. I will wait for you until you're ready.

Am happy you found someone,am a picky women too,i met someone here too. The first thing I told him about my religion,yes hed christian n we have diferent religion,n believe when I say chrisyain dont like pple in the religion I in. But I told him I know how christians are,but I dress the way I want to dress am not gonna be whom am not to impress your family .Either you n family accept me for me. If not its not gonna work. Me and this man is like we twins we like the same thing etc. Its ok to tone it a lil but not be like a nun covered. Regardless if you like.him alot, once a man you can dress certain way,because his parents,then whats next ,it might be something hes gonna ask not to do,n thats how control starts,next is gonna b dont wear makeup,or u hav to wear a skirt evetytime u go to church . You need to make a stand,y can t he tell his parents that you not christian n you dress a certain way n how he feels about you n they need to respect you as you are. Thats how he met you,so if anything if he respects you n wants to see you happy n be yourself he shouldnt put you in the spot. So dont loose ur power to please n be who you not to make others happy,because how about your happiness n if he cant undetstand that n agree. Then his lost. You want a progress relationship,not issues he has that gonna weight on your shoulder. So before you get into a knew relationship makesure he resolves his issue,because its like bringing dirty laundry into a knew relationship. You dont want to be worrying about anything n pleasing others to make him happy. Thats not a way to start something knew.
