Suprise suprise!! The guy that did my motor & were I got the two TT truck frames & rear ends but missing one front axel called yeterday & said he had one I could have if I wanted So I went over today to look, I did not see anything of the missing one. But I was able to find one of three that I may get some good from ? Figured it was the best I was going to do

Geting my McCormic 1941 LB motor just about painted, trying to do a real nice job of it takes a bit of time. Paint is not drying fast lately

You know Bub you could fire up your corvar & do the driveing to Miss orz

I do like this Desota or Dodge..??? Not sure which.. I can't remember the Grill as the one on this Car.. I wonder if it may be a Canadian...??? They seem to change American Cars a bit for the Canadian's buyer's for what reason I have no idea..???...

........Oh and this is one car that definitely needs Air Bags and Slam it down...

It's a '57 Dodge Coronet..... stock body and trim.....

They (and all Mopars in 57-58) rusted badly and very fast, so they didn't last long. This would be the big brother to "Miss Belvedere" from Oklahome City. The '58 is very similar with just minor trim changes. The '57 had big turn signals instead of the second headlight on each side. The '58 had the quad headlights.

Ok gang!!! Joe knows alllll about you mecreants!! He showed up and brought a power tool...saw to cut the door into the shipping container. He knows I avoid things that sever arteries and that I popped two spot welds and then found out it was seam welded too. Helped me frame a doorway. Now I will frame to go inside that frame and nail the metal back on to that and make a hatch door for it. Eric is supposed to bring me his semi trailor I am buying for a grand this weekend. I will have storage galore!! Empty the house of books and clothe, fill the trailor with the wood chipper and brush hog I had to own and not use...the cub cadets riding mowers from the 60s,extra chainsaws and whatever else takes up room so maybe...I can get a CAR in the newer garage???? Sorry Bub, my stash doesnt have ANY corvair stuff. My convert got junked long ago. That was a cool ride. And that lovely red and chrome pic has me As purty as any jewelry for sure!! The caddi took me back...sigh...my 59 Caddi El Dorado. Prettiest car EVER built. Even if it did try to kill me all the time and un-taught me how to paralell park!!!! 22 feet long.... I would drive uptown to park before the stores opened so I could have half a block!!! That long chrome strip did make a better look. I was downhill and got a good look at my 70 coupe deville. Tenant said he backed into the tail light. Oh HELL YES!!! Housing and all!!! If I dont sell it and do restore it..he is buying one EXPENSIVE hard to locate tail light for me!!!! That is the third vehicle hes hit. What does he do? Drive by richochet? Joe brought his camera to take pics of the Heavy chevy seats or whatever they are in the 70 chevelle that nit paid down on and never took. Not going with the second go around. Sell those separately. If it ever stops raining...ever settles temp...will get back to cars for sure. Automotion is this weekend. Do I wear hotrod gal? Or Eskimo??? No idea now who all is making the run!? So guess no worry about meeting place. Find it yourself then!!!

Hmmm..is it slammed? Only car related I did yesterday was glue the back bumper on my 50 pickup model. And the license plate. Wonder what idiot who designs these thinks a chromey flat plate will stay glued to the ridge of the box? At least it isnt like the old days when I got more glue on me than the models! New clasic truck mag and Hotrod came in so guess I dont mind that is is only 45 F***ing degrees outside in MAY!! I noticed the neighbor has his old Airstream parked for sale by the highway. Wonder what he is asking for that. They sure are pretty, all chrome looking.

The "airstream" is humpy on both ends. I know he has been trying to sell it for a few years so doubt the price is anything we want to pay! I would love to have one of those tiny hardboiled egg ones that towed behind. I need this one like a hole in the ground. I already have an RV that my boarder is supposed to buy from me. 60s (?) Ford one ton truck under it. Low milage but no title. The truck alone is worth something. Not working on cars but gonna cut steel floor for the shipping container. Does that count?

For decades, General Motors' LS V-8 engines have been a favorite of hot rodders, since GM builds them by the minute and their pushrod construction makes them easy to tune. Now a Washington shop has gone where few other craftsmen fear to tread by messing with the basic design of the aluminum LS to build a V-12 from the parts of two Corvette-ready V-8s — with a level of ingenuity and skill that's easy to appreciate even if you think a firing order is something Army recruits learn in basic training.

Cutting up and reforming an engine block may seem like little more than superfluous labor — why not just buy a bigger engine to begin with? — but it's a daring, complex undertaking, the welder's equivalent of open-heart surgery. Adding cylinders requires re-routing oil, air, exhaust and water, deducing how the new engine will run and building the supporting parts, heads and computer controls to make it fire without immediately turning into a gas-powered ball of shrapne

Something else to toss into that equation, too, Bull - how tricky is/was it lining up the crank journals? ?? Build a new one (crank) from scratch? ? ? End to end, off by only a couple of thousandths, at 4500 rpm, B A N G ! ! ! Nothin' but pieces and a big oil stain!!

Thats a nice 1926 Model T

Got my McComick LB motor done, went to open the door to wheel it out side and
The garage door came crashing down again, I'm guessing Lurch did not tighten some set screws tight enough?

Computer says it is already 98 this morning

Anyone who paints GREEN flames should be shot! Actually..if you took that grill and bumper and put a car behind them, you'd have something neat. I cant imagine how to make two 8s into a 12. And if going to that much work, why not just make a 16 then!! Got one sheet of heavy pole corregated for the shipping container floor cut. Who is the idiot who designed metal shears anyway. Dumbest thing ever. They always pinch. Why not offset the handles!!

That V16 is pretty enough to set in my living room next to the Harley! Put up driving yesterday and coast stopping to try to not get the brake squeal. Got home and felt the wheels. Oh yeah....it is the NEW brake side. That one was hot and the un-done was cool. So something is off or too tight so have to pull that damn wheel apart again. GRRRR. Eric came early and put the semi trailer I bought off him in the spot I said to. And then it started to sink the jack so ended up moving it to a different place more level. I have some big jacks that are made to hold a cab over camper up when off...thinking of adding them to the sides. And see if I can get some oak logs cut and set under also. That is one heavy trailer..old refeerer.

He just sent me picture of a 3' sinkhole in the street in front of his house that was opened when a garbage trunk drove down the street this morning.....

Better leave the F150 in the barn, Bull.....
