Okay guys do tell me when you where 18 years old did you make all the right chooses? Did you think you knew it all? Being rude when telling them that they made a mistake is not going to get them to listen or understand all it is going to get is a deft ear and thinking "damn old farts know nothing."
OP I know this is nothing like the cities where you have to lock your doors and car up most of the time. About 3 months back there was someone going around and trying to kidnap kids from school and females of all ages. I heard the got a older lady and a teenager. Think about this and every town has them that odd weird person in town that kind of worries you. With the internet now days one can look up numbers with no problem. A little bit of cash will get you information. Even simple searches can give you information that you didn't know was out there. When I am talking to someone I will do a search to see if they are who they say. Details like if they own their home how much they paid for it, if they have any arrests etc. My sugestion and it is only that is not that you put your number on the web go have it changed! What I tell people is think about what could happen or will happen if you decide to do something. Can you live with any part of that? I took that from the saying "If you can't do the time don't do the crime." 
If you need to talk message me. I maybe old but not to old to remember what it was like being young. No one is perfect in this world we all make mistakes.

Oh I know it is not a joke and that it is serious. I guess I am just reading Digitaldog's post wrong. It comes across to ME as rude. I am sorry if I am misunderstanding it.

What does this mean? (You know how slow I am!) I think everyone but that "dog", was being nice in giving the gal good advice. He, however turned it into nastiness, which was not necessary. There are lines that should not be crossed.

Harder,, corn cob,,,I remember my dad taking a corn cob and turpentine to a stray dog, when he was done that dog couldn't leave fast enough. I do not know if that was Ken's reference or not.
