Personally, I think its a waste of time and money. If you get it done, I think it will only be for the look of it. A little ball on your tongue won't make a difference if you don't know how to use your tongue in the first place.

Its going to be really sore for days. I had mine done out of anger, but I wasn't mad after I got it done it looked sexy... I took it out after 2months it was bothering me...

I love mine. Would do it again. I Do agree that skill with the tongue is needed for the piercing to be more than a decoration. I will say that the one man I dated that had one was amazing with it tho.

I absolutely LOVE my tongue ring and I'd think you'd look great with it  Worst comes to worst you take it out if you don't like it.
