Hi! Just wanted to share some info. W everyone...For those of you who are looking to reach a specific weight, or just have an idea of what your daily
calorie intake should be, Just multiply your goal weight by 15 . This will give you the total amount of calories you should eat per day in order to reach your goal weight!

~~OP~~ .... Doesn't caloric intake depend on the activity level of the person involved and how their specific body metabolism functions?
The average human body functions best at 1500-1800 calories per day.

Either one makes for a decent starting point, but would need to be tweaked for an individual's own metabolic rate, activity level, and ability to absorb nutrients...

Why not just track the daily calories over the course of a week that it takes to maintain your weight and just reduce from that daily average to lose weight? Sounds more exact to me.
