Ok so far I have been contacted by who I think may be the craziest people on this site not too sure as to why but what ever. I am not looking to just get laid I want to go out have fun meet new people. Yet the only people on here want to just get laid or send me photos of things I don't want nor need photos of. So please some one explain the crazy people in Utah thing.

That is an excellent question. I have pretty much given up myself based on how irrational some people have been. I received winks and would send them an email and they would either not read it or read it then delete it without responding.
I do not send unsolicited and inappropriate pictures, my profile was honest and the pictures were recent.
I noticed today that several women had the same guy as a featured friend and his only photo was an obvious picture of George Clooney. What is up with that?
That being said, there are some really decent guys on here but you just have to filter out the chaff.

Welcome to the world of internet dating.
This should not be an epiphany to people here. When you take a gander at my profile, pay attention to my start date. Been here long enough to know that most are "window shoppers". Look but do not interact. If "nookie" aint there move on to the next.
Then you also have the group that is looking to better their existence by financial means, only accept messages from "Calvin Klein" or "Victoria's" models. Never once placing thought as to why the hell they are here, or single for that matter. Most are totally fu**ing nuts. Not into finding "the one". Personally I have no clue how they could find "the one", they have no idea what it is that they want. Thus the place marked as START is not in their limited vision.
One can create a profile under an assumed name and masquerade as single in anonymity.
Also there are the ones that have not safely secured their ghosts, daemons and tennie runners. These are not ready to date let alone attempt a relationship. Moodiness seems to run amuck (or P3MS... Prior, Present and Post Menstrual Syndrome). Be it that the head meds they take have become impotent and are nut cases.
As for these forums and threads...... Just a place to piss and moan. People have placed a black mark by my name cuz I see them being the pot and calling the kettle black. For some reason they don't like that and choose to "think" they are Gods gift to the world and or this site. Not once realizing that they too have a problem. Otherwise they would not be here d*ckin up the works with their nonsensical esoteric rhetoric (BS)!
I hang around in hopes that there comes one that has their cookies all in one basket. I hope , but don't think it will happen.

I couldn't tell you how difficult it is to find someone that wants to chat needless to say respond to my messages I'm honestly not looking for a booty call I'm just looking for someone to be a team player companion but Mabee all the ladies look at my picture and assume that's why I'm here then agin they never give me a chance

That about sums it up alright. P3MS...holy hell hahaha! I'm stealing that term. Yeah, I'd say I doubt it's so much a Utah thing and more an internet thing. Maybe even just a general people thing. Human nature tends to be a whole hell of a lot more forthcoming in rearing its ugly head behind the detached kind of anonymity the internet provides.

I enjoy your positive outlook top, but the fact that you are still here after so many years is more of a reality check to me. But like you, I have a glimmer of hope from my romantic side trying to persevere.

Awe Rick you are so silly! OP I know what your talking about. BTW just delete photos don't even look it's how I keep my sanity over the crazy photos. If people really get to know me in person they find I'm pretty nice. I have made friends on this site I go out with and some of my friends have meet someone that way. So just look for events and go out with friends maybe you will meet someone too. Three of my new friends from this site our now in relationships from our group meets.

Then we get the "Special" group that you need to go into some jerks profile just to get the link. That was for all also (Except for those that were blocked)
These activities WERE NOT for everyone. Only a selected group.
Some day I hope to have my head in the clouds so that I cant see clearly (or ass. As one sees fit.) That one cant remember who they met then all is just peachie and wonderful!

I haven't been to any group events since last summer. I try to stay neutral and friendly with everyone. I know saying that is probably gonna bite me in the butt. I didnt come back to DH for drama but a release from my day to day n hopes for my romantic side that is just likely to continue to lead me to heart ache...
But back to the OP - there are a lot of crazy people here and not just from Utah. Just be careful. Try KIK messaging instead of giving out your phone number. Try to get names and google a person before spending to much time getting to know them. Believe me, I have learned the hard way on this one. Group events are fun if you are up to them. Other wise meet in public places and take your time getting to know someone. Dont ever give more then you are okay loosing, not talking money here either. Keep
your heart close to your vest, if you can. And just go with what ever feels right. Good luck!

i agree with filtering through all the garbage, i know there are some crazy girls on here (and more than a few who can't spell worth a shit.) but some seem cool and for me this site is more for entertainment than anything, funny posts and just seeing what other singles in the area are up too.
