Ok so I am talking to a guy and just learned that he sits to pee and uses toilet paper? Is this weird? I mean I have never met a man that did this before. What's some thoughts on this?

Thinly time a guy should sit to pee is when he's going #2 but if he does this all time then he's got some issues. if you have never seen his manhood then i would say he is "hiding something". if not then yes this is very strange!

Lived with this woman for a while and she had a 7 yr old, I had to teach him to stand up and P, his mom never did, don't know if it was she didn't want the mess if he missed or what, but he didn't know anything else but to sit and go
Maybe this guy didn't have anyone to teach him other wise, and once habits get started...
I sit to p in the mornings, you know I don't like missing either and eyes aren't focused, brains not really awake, why risk it

I'm glad u don't have that problem either. I know its silly but honestly it really bothers me. I'm from Ringgold so I'm used to guys peeing off decks and on trees. Not sitting and using paper to wipe also. It's just weird.

Well I haven't yelled at him for it. Heck I would rather fall in some cold water than to see a guy sit and pee. Maybe his ex wife yelled at him or something. He kinda strikes me as someone who has been abused or something. Maybe its just because he's feminine. Idk but I want my man to stand to pee. Sounds stupid to end a relationship over. What do ya say? We went on a vacation in the mountains for his Bday with some friends and got a cabin. We shared a room and bathroom and he was sitting down with the door open so I was like dude close the door if your gonna shit and that's when he told me he sits to pee and always uses toilet paper cause its cleaner that way.

I was dating a guy long time ago that used to pee siting down and when I found out I freaked out, I asked to my guy friends and all responded they only do it if they are tired, sleepy or drunk. I found it weird so I moved on. I'm sorry but my man has to pee standing up. Maybe the one with issues is me...

I agree with you totally. It would horrify me if I saw my date sitting and peeing.
I don't care about the toilet seat being left up. Most men never complain when I use their vehicles and forgot to readjust their driver's seat or rear vision mirror!! So I don't complain when they leave my toilet seat up.

I do sit to pee when I need to take a dump also otherwise I pee standing up.
As Hick suggested maybe no one taught him when he was younger how to pee standing up. Maybe he has vision problems and is scared of missing and having a mess to clean up.

What difference does it make, other then being neater, if a man sits to pee or stands to pee. Is it suppose to make him more of a man if he stands to peee ? Peeing is peeing.
And as far as using tolet paper, better then shaking it to get the drips off. Shaking it after peeing just splaters it all over the tolet and floor.
The floors in a public restroom are always sticky, and smell of urine if both men and woman use it, yet in a woman's only restroom, the floors are not sticky and don't have that urine smell.
Any man that come to my house I hope sits to pee, saves me from wiping up after he leaves.

when i was a kid and had guy roommates,,they said we all had to take turns cleaning the toilet,,since piss would get all over,,so i started to sit,,since i wasnt pissing all over the commode i didnt have to smell,,clean or wipe the other roomies piss up,,besides if you wake up after having sex,,and you stand up to piss,,that stream can head any direction,,dried up spent can make a stop gap on yur head,,lol,,

There is no reason that a man has to stand to pee. Where is it written that a man has to stand to pee. Where is it written that if you don't stand while you pee you are not a man.
Unbelievable, that some people, men and woman think that in order to be a man this is the way you must pee.
I can not believe so many people actually believe this thing about standing makes you a man, and that it is the man thing to do.

Awe, this whole conversation reminds me of when my son was potty training........
I used to throw a few Cheerios in the toilet so he could practice his aiming.
IDK, I find it weird but then again having a boy with lots of friends coming over I really hate cleaning the toilet area.

Maybe since men make the mess, they should have to clean the toilet area, I bet they would start sitting down to pee real fast. Maybe not, maybe it just would never get cleaned. Plus aiming is easy but you'd be surprised how many times we wonder into space while peeing and next thing you know we are pissing all over those decorative towels y'all women love to hang all the time. So there for I do too sit to piss sometimes plus its just relaxing and it gives me time to respond to text and stuff.. as far as using toilet paper.. that's a bit weird

Perhaps it makes him less of a man if he is considerate, and sits so he does not splash all over for someone else to clean up, because it always does splash when a man pees standing
up.
What is the difference to you in sitting or standing, I really am curious as to the mind set on this sitting thing, because I really don't see any advantage to standing, unless a man is using a urinal, however I see advantages to sitting.

Why is using toilet paper weird ? You use it for the other excretion area don't you ? So why would you not use it to clean of left over pee ? Why would you be clean about one excretion spot and not another ? Keeping yourself clean is keeping yourself clean after going to the bathroom.
So what do you do shake the excess off all over the place for someone else to clean up ?
