am confused? low fat and low carb? most diets recomend 1 or the other; example atkins diet being high fat low carb. some herbs and such to stablize blood sugar are used primarily as pills b4 meal like cinnamon, pepper, and garlic

I have one:

Cut an avocado in half and remove the pit. Take a spoon and make the crater in the middle a little bit bigger. Put an egg in the middle, top with cayenne or any slice you would like and since cheese and bake on 180 until the egg is cooked to the constancy you like.

reenie...if you are into sugar substitues splenda has some really great recipes on their site

you mentioned cauliflower...there is a great way to make it baked...my italian grandmother used to fry hers in a tempura like batter which was delicious...but this is a much healthier version and just as tasty

( not exactly carb free but its so yummy you won't care lol )


preheat oven to 400 degrees

clean & dry a head of cauliflower and break or cut into 2 inch size florets

place in a large mixing bowl

cover with enough olive oil to coat

use about 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs ( i use 1/4 panko and 1/4 italian flavored crumbs )

1/2 cup grated parmesean or romano blend cheese


mix last two ingredients together and toss over the oil coated cauliflower. arrange
pieces on a large baking sheet. and bake for about 30 - 40 min according to your oven.
turning over midway during baking. you want the pieces to be well browned. serve
immediately.
