I lived in a trailer for a few years back in the 90s and I had a very healthy income at the time. I thought it was awesome. My bills were almost nothing because I owned the trailer outright.
I liked it so much I'm planning on buying another one to retire in. I'll spend my Summers in the mountains and Winters in the desert and if I don't like my neighbors it's easy to move to another spot.

Living in a trailer doesn't make you trash, its how you live and carry yourself. Are you clean, is your house clean.....things like that determine if you are trash or not? I lived in a trailer when i was a baby because my parents didn't have the money for a house. Also my grandmother has always lived in a trailer....it doesn't make her nor i trash. But to answer your question: Yes i would date someone who lived in a trailer. What you live in has nothing to do with who you are as a person.

(Pruned a Quince tree over the years so any and all males could walk right into the tree and it is a shaded surround of peacefullness! I made it so all the branches - branch out at about ground level and then spread out and up!)
Can't tell ya all the compliments I get on that little 8 year project! (so far)
Work's really good if you've had a little too much to drink because you just walk into it - the lower branches hit the legs about a foot above the ankle and if you fall foreward the tree holds you up! Couple of friends have sworn by that tree! when they got a little too tipsy and the tree saved them!! lol
talk about trash huh?!?!?
It's the little things that make a world ya know....
You've just found something that costs nothing to do.

I made a fortune selling lawn ornaments to people that live in mobile homes, you may have seen them, engine blocks, transmissions, wheels with flat tires, antifreeze jugs,
And my favorite, the seats from cars.

Ah! Nothing like living in a trailer park with a tailgate down on a pickup with a can of Mountain Dew in one hand (because I am not a drinker, otherwise, it would be a Budweiser) and a Marlboro Red in another playing Lynyrd Skynyrd all night long!! Gosh, those were the days!!
Of course, with this economy, it would still be the same trailer park, still the same truck, but it is a can of Save-A-Lot's Mountain Holler (Natural Ice if you're a drinker), and a Pall Mall Red. Hey, but at least we will always have Skynyrd!!!
Oh yeah, and you can't forget the rebel flag that's used as a curtain in the windows!

There is always far more too it.
-Does she chew tobacco?
-Is the trailer more mobile than the 4 cars on her lawn?
-How many kids does she have?
-How many guns?
-How's her hygiene? Does she haul water and this month she's a little short so can't refill the tank?
-Is the state we're in prone to tornadoes?
-Does she share it with her ex's family?
-Does she share it with her exhusbandbrother?
-Does she have a hairy butt crack that she combs forward because she "don't want to look like no baby"?
-Does she hang her thongs from the clothesline and I notice they all have a little brown discoloration along the back part?
-Does she not own any shoes?
-Does she speak with a southern accent but has never lived outside of Iowa?
-How often does she scratch herself?
-Is she native american?
-Is the lot prime real estate?
-Does she have horses?
-How many cats does she have? Is she always telling them to "git!"?
-Am I confused when she starts complaining about the coons always getting into her garbage and hiding under the trailer?
There are just so many things to consider.
I just don't know.

actually my first house (as they did not have married student housing at the Uni where we went) was indeed a mobile home!!
I hated it, you could sit on the potty and watch TV in the living room at the OTHER end of it, and the ceilings are low, I felt like I was in a cracker box, but was working and in college full time, so I wasn't there much and it was an economic means to accomplish what I needed to do. No biggie!

They keep raid on the kitchen table right beside the 1877 sauce.. and the great value mustard.. the cabinet was full of cut off 2 liter bottles... you know the fine china.. was foam cups, paper plates, and re-used plastic silver ware.. which only gets taken out when really important company comes by.. and for god sakes dont ask to bum a cigarette.. no.. you'll get the bag of butts thats been collecting dust under the couch!! shit my vacation home isn't really a house, Its a trailer I pimped out up in NM Gila wilderness. I'm even about to buy a dub wide on the other side of town that's on some land. Rent the place out im now which will cover both mortgages. I'll be proud as hell to live there....tho I do want to build a home on the land eventually.

Hmmm ...I grew up dirt poor in Dublin Ireland.
6 kids (and I was the adopted one) 2 parents and a two bedroom house.
No bath room, the toilet was a toilet pot out in the back yard connected to the coal shed.
I slept in the parents room with my brothers in a single bed (twin bed).
While the girls had their own room.
I got a decent education and pulled myself up by my bootstraps.
So the point of the above ....
Would I date someone that lives in a trailer?
Yes ...I'd be dating the person not their situation. That said, I am not a white knight riding in to save you but would expect you to pull yourself out of your own situation and make it better or what you believe is better while being supportive in your endeavours.
