I have started a diet or lifestyle change in January. I had started at 361.6 in beginning of February and today I weighted myself today and I am at 296.8. I am happy even though I have quite a bit more to go.

Your' Diet Support' thread helped me out a lot. You and others had great advice. I lost 12 pounds then platoed (spelling). My blood sugar got under control and I am now starting to lose again.
I wish I could say I have done as well ad you. You keep up the good work. You inspire me.

I will call it 7 months so 10 pounds a month or 2.5 a week.
If you dropped your meals to 500 calories x 3 that would give you 2-3 pounds lost a week due to your maintaining weight calories per day are around 3000-3500.
With your weight loss it takes more to get the same weight loss result. Good Luck!

Thank you. I Wang to say that if I can do it anyone can, but I found that I am allergic to gluten and hate the gluten-free stuff so it is very much easlier to say no when I know it will hurt.

Depends on which 'gluten free' things you speak of. Some alternatives (like nut flour) I don't hate nor can I totally tell the difference.
Some of the box mix things that are 'gluten free' suck. I do agree with ya there.

True and the nut flour is a lot lower in carbs then the boxes. I was told that they taste better then before. Help me stay low carb.

You cannot use food as a means to cope with depression. People do it with drugs and alcohol. A therapist may be in order and certainly a nutritionist. We need to figure out why you let yourself go like that...

Congrats! I have been reading forever to find some positive posts. You are doing awesome.
I was 427 in March and I have literally busted my a** at the gym and in my diet. I'm down to 377. I have a long way to go.but it's wonderful to finally crave the gym over junk food. Good luck on reaching your goal!!!!

I am having hard time. I live with chronic pain and unable to exercise. I can barely walk. Even when I was much much thinner I had chronic pain.
I am looking for a way to at least reduce my calorie intake to loose weight. I been skipping lunch and only eating breakfast and dinner and cut back on snacking and i have not seen a real difference. I count calories on myfitnesspal.com. maybe my metabolism is slow

I eat low carb. So about 20 grams a day with also 20 grams diterary fiber. You have to eat at least 3 meals a day or your.metabolism will slow down. There was a diet I had used that worked but couldn't stay on it because eating too often. 6 small meals like 2 ozs of protein and 1 cup of vegetables and 1 carb for meals and 2 ozs of protein and.1 carb for shacks and would eat every 2-2 1/2 hours.
