Watched robocop last night because the remake is coming out next summer and i hadn't seen it for 20 years ( damn that makes me feel old) it has kinda held up over time but yeah still an 80's movie fo sho.

i have not seen either of those, I'll have to check em out. Also i liked spring breakers but it's not for everyone that's for sure. World war z was better than i thought it would be. Good stuff coming out in the next few weeks

Mouse that movie was creepy. Let's just say Story's based on real events that involve demons really frighten me like nothing else. When I was a kid the excersist was by far the most frighting movie I'd ever seen.

Now I really want to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL...My idea of a great night is thunder, lightening, lots of rain and a scary movie and to sit here in my chair and watch it by myself.
I am not into blood and gore, but a good fright is always GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Very few movies have this quality. Instead they stick to blood and gutts to make their point.

Just saw elysium, The new Matt Damon offering... The date I took had a few "ewwww" moments, and one or two "Don't go there!" comments, but that is what makes a movie. It had a good balance of action and political corruption, with very well done cgi.
However, if you are looking for a new plot-line, I'm sorry to say that this is more or less "Johnney Mmonic" (sp)... Matt Damon plays a much grittier lead, (Than Keano Reaves)and you almost feel his pain... (My date certainly did)...
I can honestly say that BOTH movies will be finding a place in my collection... But, that's just me.

I liked how the main character read the book "The China Study," and they even had a little conversation about it. I thought that was cool.

I don't care for Leo saw it despite him. I found the movie depressing and hated the sound track. Wait for red box if you choose to watch this IMHO.

That dude needs a manicure lol. Not into superhero stuff although I did like the first Iron Man. Love violence in movies not so much in real life but then art does imitate life.

I've seen 48 hours a few times bit it's been awhile I'll have to check it out again. Saw a great documentary last night called sound city. The trailer is online, if you care about music and classic albums it's pretty sweet. Watched looper again for maybe the sixth time. Love that movie but tonight masterchef is on so no movies today. Haha.

Kick-ass 2 it was ok. Geared to a younger crowd I think definitely. Not too young there was some profanity I wouldn't take little kids to this IMHO.

I rented "Admission" from Redbox the other night. It was pretty good. Got a few laughs out of it, and a couple of good messages. My 18-year-old daughter enjoyed it.

I went to a movie with my Dad last night and let him pick the movie. We saw World War Z, not really my type of movie. I am glad it was rated R or I would have hated it. Sitting next to me in the movie theater was a young couple with their daughter. I'm guessing she was 4 years old. The left after maybe 1/2 hour. The left their snacks there, a huge bucket of popcorn and big drink with maybe 1/3 gone from each. Why would you take a small child to a movie like that?

I think it's that they can't find a babysitter so they just say screw it and have no respect for other people or what effect a movie like that is going to have on their child. There is a lot of self absorbed idiots out there.

(Big Screen) The Lone Ranger. Was interesting, I enjoyed it.
(DVD)The Weather Man with Nicholas Cage. I really enjoy it. Makes me think of the importance of money. How it's important to some, to the point that they can let everything else go for it.. but the greatest wealth actually doesn't come with a president's face.
