I got a tatt on my finger about a month ago. I noticed a couple of weeks ago it started fading. I called the artist that i usually go to and he said it faded cause I'm a hairstylist and mess with chemicals and my hands are wet all day. He refuses to redo it. I call bull$hit! I took care of it like I've done all my others. What a douche! After only a month i think he should redo it for free.

He very well could be right. Tattoos need time to be sealed; chemicals and never getting time to dry does play a factor in things. I would ask the owner of the shop to take a look and see what can be done.
If he is the owner see if you can at least get a discount.

Chemicals and it being wet will cause it to fade. Plus finger tattoos dont hold up well with the skin. Do research before next time so you dont have this problem again.

And on that paper you signed and filled out...99% say that you are responsible for payment of any and all touch up. So again...do some reading.
