I'd think when they'd snitch their men's for appropriate wear for work tasks?

I remember when they were "Ok" in the school dress code in the 70s thank GOD! those dresses were awful on the play ground, "I see London, I see France I see Ginny's Underpants!" damn!

and your point? really, if we want to wear pants for comfort or to be appropriate for the task at hand, what's it to you? IT IS the 21st century you know...NOT 1950.
I have a picture of my mom circa 1953 in some plaid God awful capris and she said that was just brazen of her at the time, for camping/fishing trips only!
She didn't don pants full time until the 1980s still wears a lot of skirts,
That's some serious bullshit imo really. I don a dress/skirt when I want to, but pants are comfortable. So get a gal that wears dresses/skirts only but it's MY choice.

So we could ride a horse a straddle. You ever tried to gallop away side saddle with a bunch of billowy skirtts. riding skirt was one of the first acceptable pairs of "pants" but still had a front and back piece in a lot of cases that when standing gave the illusion of a skirt but the function of pants.

Because there had never been any real reason for women not to wear pants--they'd just been going with a long-time tradition and once it was broken, it made no sense to return to it?

There is no real reason for me not to wear pants. My great grandmother is native american, and also didn't live in a real home for some time. I'm not going to go put together a hut and live out of that just because she did. :|

"Made for men" and "made for women" by whom? In what culture? Do you feel that nature somehow defined modes of dress? If so, how do you explain that men in many ancient cultures wore robes or kilts? What about the harem pants worn by both sexes in some Asian cultures for hundreds (or thousands) of years?

I have never worn a dress, because I'm not a woman, and there is nothing feminine about this black man.

Anyway, I just feel that some things are made for men, and some things are made for women. Too often these days, these lines are blurred, leading to confusion in many aspects of our lives and in relationships as well.
Men need to men, not get in touch with their feminine side as women told us 30 years ago.
Then wonder why there are so many gays.
Women need to be women, not demanding to "do everything a man can".
Because you are not a man, and small things like this keep chipping away from that reality, until we have women trying to do all kinds of things that they are not best suited for.
Like being combat soldiers, and correctional officers for dangerous male prisoners.
But you can't tell some women nothing.
Until Bryan Nichols overpowered a female C.O., broke her jaw, gave her permanent brain damage, and went on killing spree terrorizing a major american city.
Because a woman was trying to do the job of a man.
But no one can tell you anything.
