I used to have cats. I had a cat named Dweezel. He was so tiny, fluffy and white. He had one green eye, one blue eye, and was deaf. My dearly departed Larry took this kitten out front to watch fireworks which were directly overhead, from the fire company next door. Dweezel sat there, mouth open like he was saying, OH , and watched the fireworks. I will never forget that. He lived another 18 years. Awesome, cats.

My male cat was a stray for two years. He is my constant companion. He never seems to forget how much he loves me for giving him the nice life he has now. He wants to always be held. But sometimes you have dishes to do or food to cook. I picked up a baby sing at a thrift store. He loves it. Sits it in and purrs his happy face off while you continue about your business.

Beware Of PLAYFUL Cats
I have two KITTENS Im fostering that are simply HUGE!Pancho is actually even bigger than Lefty. They look like adult toms yet are only about 7-8 months old...these boys are SOLID,big and heavily boned and they honestly don't mean to hurt you when they play...they are as loving as they can possibly be, but man they pack a power punch! They dwarf even the adult cats.I know they are domestics but their personailties are much like one of my old boss' pet/education Mtn Lion's.Overly affectionate and don't realize their own strength.

Question...do you think a toilet trained cat might be more adoptible than a litterbox trained cat?

Well my cat ( T.J. ) is crazy.. I think he might be possesed or maybe a undercover dog... He chases his tail, eats people food, digs in trash bags, runs around the room like a chicken with its head cut off... He is a biter and a scratcher... He was given to me.. And i havent been able to get him neutered yet.. But will very soon.. He id approx. 9 to 10 months old and from what a friend told me.. He is a tabby cat.. He def is a crazy one.. But he has his moments of being affectionate.. Every morning when he sees me get out of bed, he will run up to me and rub and circle around my legs, purring really loud.. Basicslly telling me, hey feed me please.. Lol ... He knocks his water bowl around for no apparent reason... He does this move that i call the bear .. Where he will jump at you with his front paws up in the air... Sometimes he is a ninja ... Depends on his mood of that particular day... Hes scratched my daughters lip so bad that it busted... Def a handful .. But still, i love him ... Hes cute when he wanna be.. He has scratched me pretty good too... None the less we still love his mean ass... Lol ...

His name was Amadeus; he passed three years ago. I have tried to get another cat but for some reason I can't. I guess I don't want to go through the pain of losing another pet.

I adopted a kitten from the Humane Society, before they did much. She had ear mites, worms and fleas. She was dirty and small for her age. Turned out to be the best support cat I ever had.
After a fire, we shared a hotel room. Katy took it all with stride. She happily followed the chambermaids from room to room on her leash.
She helped me with my agoraphobia because I honestly don't think I could of left my apartment, during the fire, if I didn't have her. She was the only thing I took with me when the fire broke out.
Katy would go from window to window to check for suspicious people. If someone was doing something she didn't like, she would growl.
She loved children and would play with the neighborhood children, when they stopped over. Never scratched or bit anyone except my youngest sister. Always bit her, lol. Katy never forgave my much younger sister for making her pull Barbies in shoe boxes. Katy's ultimate revenge was running real fast and snatching a Barbie shoe, belt or any small object. She did swallow a small cloth Barbie belt once and pooped it the next day. The children didn't want it back.
The day I had Katy put to sleep, broke my heart. I vowed never to get another cat. I couldn't deal with the heartache. I ended up adopting two. My white cat has since died but I still have my tabby.
KATY. Barely bigger than a shoelace, lol.
