I don't like feeling restrained or boxed in by having a label applied to me but this is a cool little survey tool to see how the "test" would categorize you. I found this on the political forums and since I don't see many of you over there...I decided to bring it over here for you to play with if you want.
Here's how I was labeled.

I can see why I'm at odds with politics. Not many politicians were near me and I didn't recognize the names of ones that were near me. I was surprised I wasn't closer to Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode.
I can't interpret my results very well. Do these results make me a bad person? Please tell me you still love me.
There were quite a few questions I felt herded into an answer that I would have like to have seen more options for. Still a cool tool though.

I am pretty close to where you are. Less than 2 left, 1.25 down Personally I feel the closer to dead center, the better. No extremes, Buddha said that. "nothing to extreme"

I just finished both surveys. I came out just about where I imagined I would. I'm in the purple in the one graph. Thank God none of our political hacks were in my sector!
In the isidewith survey, I identify with 79% Libertarian, 76% Republican, 15% green, 5% Dems, 0% Socialist. When I went to the friends page, it showed I identified with 26% of the country and 23% of Pennsylvania. That's NOT encouraging. That means 3/4 of the participants are going to drown out my vote. So by a bit of analysis, the libertarian & Republican participants are outnumbered in this poll by a greater number of Dems to sway the totals.
How can so many people be wrong?
But then again, I've never followed the crowd either.

Is it only 82 because I may have not slid all to the most side and or chose other stance? Idk. I can't figure why else I was less than 100% GOP. Hmmm.

Yea, posted the graph anyway even though big. Yup, more "true" rep values and Libertarian the better. Don't know why we both showed some left on the compass but both right in this one

I took the bottom test a month ago. The problem is the test don't really ask the right question, like gun control, immigration, taxes, gay marriage, epa, nsa, welfare...The questions it does ask are very general and have little to do with government at all. I remember one question was do you think its normal for children to lie.

They asked a couple questions in several catagories. Then, there's a place to click for additional questions. I selected more questions when I wasn't satisfied with the few weak ones they started with. Did you try that?
The questions were rather current and appeared to offer both sides of an issue. I'm not sure how they score you when you have a differing opinion, which they allow you the option to enter. They must remove those from the scoring, which would explain how I wasn't scored exactly as I expected. Maybe I'll try it and use only their choices.

No, I didn't try to answer additional question. I think these test are just like polls. They are very well planned to get a certain outcome.

My opinion is that we stop succumbing to all this division. We are AMERICANS. We have a Constitution and founding documents that were written extremely carefully by some very smart men and they planned for an unbelievable variety of scenarios. They did, however know despotism and tyranny and knew it quite well.
Quit identifying yourself as anything but an American. If someone wants to pigeonhole you, they are engaging in divisionism, much as a lion separates one from the herd and kills it.
"If we do not stand together, we shall surely fall separately."

The pigeon hole tactic is in full force. I believe most people underestimate what a powerful tool media is and masterfully it's being used to manipulate the masses. The internet needs to be protected at all costs.

Yeah Shawn, they asked me about a Pennsylvania matter.
And as for pigeon-holing us, we need to counter-answer and sway the results back in our favor when we see that being attempted. I will not tolerate some Socialist edu-macated statistics expert doctoring the polls on my behalf. Polls are too easy to corrupt by design.
