How as a parent do you deal with this BS?? So sick & tired of the school not doing anything to help my baby.

Have you had any opportunity to contact the parents of the offending children? I have seen some parents take this pretty seriously and have taken appropriate action to stop the bullying from their side.

Bullying and it being condoned/ignored by public schools is the leading reason people choose to home school now. There's many other reasons and it's hugely different from the traditional school environment and THANK GOD for that! Your local library is a resource for info on home schooling, there are organizations in every state as well.

IF it can't be sorted by talking to the parents of the child that is bullying him and if the school does nothing, I would relocate him to a school I felt could pay attention to my child's well being.
You have to get involved. You can't just sit back and hope the school will do everything.

I had to put daughter in private school. The principals answer was always they are autistic or it's cold so teachers don't go out for recess. Basically deal with it

In 3rd grade(my son is now in 11th), He was being bullied so bad. He would come home with fat lips, bruises, etc and the school did NOTHING. They were aware of it, they knew who the 2 boys were that were bullying my son and still nothing was done. I finally told my son he needed to stick up for himself. Was the only way to stop it. Normally I am against this type of advice but I was at my wits end. The following day in school one of the boys came up to me son and tried to hit him, my son blocked the punch and punched the boy back. My son was then suspended for 3 days(funny tho the other boys NEVER were suspended once for all they did to my son, but needless to say these kids never bothered him again. Sometimes you just have to show you are not going to be walked all over.

You must report, report, report to everyone you can and who all will listen. Start with the school...they should have a resource officer there. If not then the school and if doesnt seem to help go up to the school board and then if not to the police. You cannot stop fighting against bullying. Always seek as much outside advice and help as you can. If you feel you arent getting the help you need then you have to go to the next level and the next resource. Never stop ! when you stop then guess what! THEY WIN.
